The camera is far and away improved, it takes a bit of a learning curve dealing with the non physical button and operating system but it's pretty intuitive so I find it easy to use

Battery life is good (MUCH better than the S7! - and it doesn't overheat). Still the battery life is not as good as advertised and I'm pretty much a moderate user.
