Returned it for another 9 and it still happened. Even got new SIM card, still problems. Opted for 9+ and AM SO GLAD I DID!!! NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH HEARING THE OTHER PARTY AND VICE VERSA, LOVE THIS PHONE! DON'T BUY THE REGULAR S9
