Phone: Excellent. Compatible with Verizon. No problems activating. I was there for a dishwasher and swung by the phone section. I saw their sale signs for open box items. The person I bought this phone for is now in the 21st Century and 5G ready! We replaced an old Samsung phone with this snazzy one so we knew what we were getting into. Camera is great, features, can't complain! Best Buy: Sales associate was informative about best buy return policies (just in case) and about Verizon activation. Bought a black case since the color was purple. Because it was purple, I got a great deal.

I buy s9 because of camera and faster then my old S 8.

I bought this for my elderly mother and she's able to text a lot easier on this phone than previous phones. She enjoys the features and switching from her old phone to this phone was really easy with the SmartSwitch app by Samsung. Her one complaint is that she doesn't have big photos of her favorite or frequent contacts when she wants to call someone, but that's easily remedied with an app.

Love this phone. Upgraded from the S7 which had been a fav until now. Took advantage of the trade-in program and upgraded to the S9. The picture taking is far superior and the sound that comes from the S9 blew my mind. Never heard sound come from a phone this nice.. Was not a fan that it uses the USB-C connection, but found little adapters for all of my regular USB-mini cables, so ended up not too big of a deal.

I needed a new phone, and was able to buy this with the Best Buy account 0% for 12 months plan. Customer service was great at the Burbank store. I wish phones weren't so expensive these days, so I can't say I love the price. But, this phone was on sale so that's good. The functionality is wonderful, and I love that it's an unlocked phone so that I can change carriers if I need to.

Having switched from IOS to Android I have had to read the manual and search the internet for help on how to do things. Every time I find the answer to one question, I learn of a new capability I hadn't even thought about. My only concern was the vulnerability of the curved glass and USB-C plug. Solved by purchasing a case with built in screen protector and also a wireless charger. Super phone.

I upgraded from an S3 (I know!) and this one is much better. The battery life is excellent-for now. Screen and camera much better. Activation was a breeze.

My dad was in need of a new phone when his HTC One conked out after almost 7 years, and since he's not patient when it comes to....well.....pretty much anything, I was dreading him getting a new phone because, well, I'm IT support for my family! Fortunately, his difficulties with adjusting to the new set were minimal, and he loves the new phone.

switched to the s9 after I saw the price of the iPhoneX. I am not disappointed with switching to Samsung, this phone has a much better display and camera than the iPhones do. The pictures in the dark are phenomenal. It was easy to transfer all the data from my iPhone because of the easy set up features. If your thinking about switching from the iPhone, do it, you will not be disappointed.
