    I'm impressed!

So I've gone back and forth so many times on returning this for a Note 8. I came from a Note 5 and did have the Note 8, but both of them (bought from Samsung direct) were defective! My husband's mic would go in and out and mine wouldn't hold a charge. I love the S Pen, like REALLY love it! So it took me a minute to be ok without it, well a minute and a new stylus! But now, I wouldn't trade my S9+ for any other phone. This phone is fast, the camera is amazing, the Lilac purple is beautiful! It's so much more comfortable to hold and the SPEAKERS! Thank you for finally adding a 2nd speaker! There are some things I have to get used to, the keyboard doesn't seem to remember MY dictionary, so I'm having to re-train it, the individual notification tones are gone, but that's all stuff I can either live without or DL an app for. I actually really like Bixby, even though I just knew I would hate it, but the quick commands are where this shines! Being able to say "I'm home" and having it turn on my WiFi, turn off my bluetooth, turn my volume up, turn off location and adjust the brightness to half, that's pretty incredible! I use the AR Emojis WAY more than any adult should! This phone has everything I personally need, and some things that I don't but still have fun with. Add the fact that I'm getting over 7 hours SOT every single day, and it's just a winner in every way for me.

The cell phone after 30 days starts to fail. I regret so much and I went to Best buy to return but they said I couldn't. Very disappointed with Samsung.

    Switching from iPhone to S9+

So after months of waiting and watching reviews on YouTube I finally made the switch to the s9+ from my iPhone 8. I've been an iPhone user for years and over two weeks into having the s9+ I can't even imagine going back to apple. The reveal of the new iPhones and seeing they are the exact same thing as last year just more expensive kinda was a dealbreaker. So here's my android experience so far - Right after getting the phone the initial few things that might not seem nice coming from the iPhone and are known issues (Cons) 1. Not compatible with our cars stock music system usb plugging. You can use an aux cable or bluetooth. 2. The cars inbuilt usb may not provide an adequate charge with apps running on the phone. Not a design flaw but the heavy battery requires a powerful charger and after looking up online an anker fast charge 3.0 would do the trick. 3. The initial battery drain may seem to be excessive - within a few minutes from a full charge I noticed the it drop to about 96-98% but from there on it's a slower drain despite heavy usage. On average I would say it is at par or may e just slightly better than my wife's iPhone 8+. Pros: Other than what I said for the cons everything else is amazing on this phone. Some of my favs so far: 1. Camera is beyond amazing on for anything I've seen on a phone both front and rear. 2. The ability to unlock using 3 different sources is smooth and convenient. 3. Having 2 apps open on the same screen. You can be like watching a video and listening to it about a certain topic while at the same time reading up on it Google or whatever. 4. Customization with widgets. I have 2 home screens and swiping g between those 2 tell me everything I need to for the day. 5. The alarm has this "briefing" it's a nice pleasant music followed by how the weather is, what's on my calendar for the day and then the news. 6. The health tracker is awesome. Keeps track of your stress, steps, sleep and more if you input additional details. The camera has a thing with which you can just point it at whatever you're eating and it will identify the food and input the calories to the health app for you. 7. Emulators- perfect for killing time on flights if you have airplane mode on and want to kick back and play some old school gameboy. 8. The ability to have a memory card to expand your memory and to have a backup of your stuff right there without having to rely on a cloud service constantly messaging you to upgrade your space for 1.99/mo . Also even if you don't have a memory card there is a bunch of stuff you can do using the USB C OTG connector that comes with it (dont throw it away after transferring data from an iphone- YouTube this and you'll see). Overall it's an amazing phone. Day one and 2 kinda wanted to go back to the iPhone just cause I was so used to it but the wife told me to keep it at least for the 2 weeks before I switch back. Now I love it and so much I can do with it that I couldn't with the iPhone. Will probably get the galaxy watch soon for the extra health and workout tracker features.

I purchased a open box s9+ in store, when I got home I couldn't use it because there is "the device was reset. to continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced with on this device". My mom went to the store the next day, the store got an exchange and stating that they would not charge extra, but the bill appeared on the statement.

I planned to go to India and needed two Sim cards. I was told that it had two Sim cards. I realized it did not have. I was given misinformation. So I had to buy another Samsung in India. I lost a lot of money. Also I could not extend the expiration date of $40.00 reward points. Please help.

Horrible phone. Should have stayed with Galaxy S6. Nothing but trouble. First phone had to be replaced within a week. Spent hours on the phone with Samsung and at Best Buy to transfer data and file. Most people at both places were clueless.

I went from an Iphone to a Galaxy S9+...Huge mistake. This phone has pop up ads that wont quit, interrupts texts, phone calls, emails and browsing. The phone also keeps referring back to military time no matter how many times it's changed.
