Easy to setup

I bought the four-pack because I have four kids. I was able to hide each one inside their backpacks so that they wouldn't be tempted to play with them. They are easy to set up, and you can name them. Three out of the four updated to display their current location. One displayed that it was at my home address all day when clearly it was in my daughter's backpack at school. I know because I work from home and my daughter is in elementary. Although the others updated regularly, it took several minutes to update the location.

We appreciate your feedback as we improve the functionality and design of our product line. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. We would be more than happy to assist you with what you may be experiencing with your device, but we need a few more details before we can do so. The accuracy has been off just a few times but only by less than 500 feet. I love that I can get a history report daily. The tag is very well made, strong and highly durable. Happy with my purchase

I have one decided to get another one for some odd reason the new one wasn't as good as the one i had so i returned it

This accessory leverages Samsung's vast SmartThings Find network of other Galaxy devices to find lost items far away, which then anonymously relays your SmartTag2's location via an encrypted signal for privacy. For close-range finding, it offers a "Search Nearby" feature with visual AR guidance and sound, while UWB provides precise direction and distance, working only with compatible newer Galaxy phones.
