Questions & Answers (38)
- A: It tracks as far as it goes. The farthest i been 100 miles from it. But it only work if there a same brand phone near by with Bluetooth. Bluetooth is the answer. Ex. I have a Samsung phone so any body that close by that has a Samsung phone with their Bluetooth on it will let you know the location of device, if there noone there you will not get a reading. I have them hiding in my vehicle.
- A: Yes it will, however; you just wont be able to use the precision finding as shown below.
- A: Yes, I was overseas in South Korea for a month while my car was parked in a Los Angeles parking structure. It gave me readings no problems. Same with my luggage going from Shanghai China to Busan South Korea to Seoul South Korea back to LAX, accurate readings each location no issues.

A: Yes. You will have to make sure the attachment you use for your dog's collar will secure the deviceQ: how far it can track if my keys are 100 miles away it will be able to tracked? (3 answers)
A: As long as there are other Samsung users in the vicinity of the tag, you will be able to get an approximate idea of the tag's location. Samsung devices anonymously detect the Samsung smarttags and will send its approximate location to you. If you go to that area, your device will be able to more accurately pinpoint the smarttag's location.- A: Hank - how tf is my theoretical situation a "privacy nightmare"? Because the trafficking of children is an ever-growing concern for every parent? Because I want to be sure if my 9 year old is on a field trip and someone kidnaps him, I'll be able to find him? Because I want to teach him to be as cautious as possible because the world isn't always nice to children? I'd say those are great reasons to wanna track my son and if you had read my comment instead of being a weirdo about it, you'd understand that's what was meant by it. Troglodyte. However, you did answer my question about having actual GPS in it. The answer being no. So I thank you for that and I won't be getting it
