Samsung - Galaxy SmartTag2 - Black and White

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a solid upgrade over the original SmartTag. The new design feels more durable, the battery life is noticeably longer, and the improved range makes tracking much more accurate. The redesigned loop is sturdy and attaches easily to keys, bags, or even a pet collar without feeling flimsy. “Lost Mode” and the directional guidance work smoothly, and the tag updates its location consistently when near Samsung devices. Setup through the SmartThings app is quick and simple, especially if you already use a Samsung phone. If you're in the Samsung ecosystem, this is one of the most useful accessories you can add. Reliable, easy to use, and definitely worth it.

The Galaxy SmartTag2 has been very reliable and easy to use. Setup with the Samsung SmartThings app was quick, and tracking works accurately, especially when paired with a Samsung phone. Location updates are fast, and the nearby search feature makes it easy to find items at home using sound and direction guidance. I like the improved design and durability, and battery life has been excellent so far, which means less worry about frequent replacements. It’s been useful for keeping track of keys and bags, and the app interface is clear and intuitive. If you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem, this tracker is a great alternative and works seamlessly. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives peace of mind.

I use these products for my dogs on the collars to keep track of them if they ever get out or run off. But I also used them for my special needs adult child keychain. it gives me peace of mind. And if he misplaces them, I can find them for him without causing a big scene, they'd be great for other products like ipads clip on a phone. Especially for people with dementia, Alzheimer's or special needs. And I also have one attached to my ebike, so if it gets lost, I will find it, and it's so easy to change the batteries.I appreciate that!

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 is a notable upgrade from its predecessor, delivering enhanced tracking performance, improved durability, and an extended battery life, all while maintaining its ease of use. One of the standout features is its new compact, water-resistant design (IP67-rated), which makes it far more versatile for outdoor use. Whether you’re attaching it to luggage, keys, or even a pet’s collar, it feels built to last. The redesigned ring-shaped body is not only stylish but practical, allowing it to hook easily onto various items.

This product does exactly what I want it to do! Read the manual to set it up even though it is pretty intuitive and quick to do. I really like the history function within the menus where you can go in and see where the item has been over specific calendar dates. I don't like losing items. I do lose myitems. I wish I got better keeping my items. I AM trying. Whenever I do screw up, it's good to have a product like this on hand. I really don't think I'll win any kind of raffle for a big Best Buy gift card to submit this review, but I do believe that anyone on the fence about this product should know that it's pretty cool. I really wish that the product was louder because I think that sometimes you might lose an item in a noisy environment and then you want to be able to hear the tag alert sound when you're trying to get closer and find it. Still, it's okay and I don't want to return it.
