Q: Does it take special paper or any 4x6 photo paper?
A: Hello! You'll have to use paper specifically made for the Canon Selphy printer. Other papers will not work for this printer, and the paper and ink come bundled together. Hopefully this helps!
A: No, it doesn't dry out. I have gone months in between printing & it printed just as well as it did on Day 1. Most cartridges can print 108 4"x6" photos. If you print smaller photos, you can get so many more!
A: You can also print directly from your phone
Q: How much is the paper and ink?
A: About $30 for 100 pictures
A: The software that comes with the printer when you set it up has different image sizes and styles of layout. It offers one print that looks like an ‘index’ sheet, (same size paper). You could cut the smaller size photos out of the print out. The stock and replacement size is 4” x 6”. I printed out at least 8 photos with the intro paper and ink. I took photos with my phone at an event and laid the photos out of people doing activities. The photos were stellar quality, and lots of people remarked how good they turned out. I’m glad I went with the printer instead of a Polaroid style camera.
Q: Does this come with a charger or batteries?
A: No. It comes with a wall plug-in.
Q: Does the printer print quality clear pictures
A: Yes. It prints great pictures. Just as good as a photo kiosk, if not better.

Perfect photo printer for home use

Love the Selphy CP1500 Photo Printer
This is a fabulous little printer. I love how it can print directly from my cell phone. It's quick to print, easy to use and has great color. I use it to print photos of my grandkids and photos of the quilts I create for charity so that I have a colorful record.
