Features

  • Take it with you

Where is the best place to print and share images of your friends? Wherever you are of course! Thanks to the optional battery NB-CP2LH which can produce up to 54 prints per charge, you can take your SELPHY CP1500 with you and print on-the-go almost anywhere!

  • WiFi, USB, and more, oh my!

There are so many ways to print images on the SELPHY CP1500, it’s easy to pick the one that works best for you, whether that is WiFi, AirPrint, USB (computer and USB flash drive), your camera memory card, or the SELPHY Photo Layout smartphone app.

  • Instantly dry and marker ready

Thanks to the dye-sublimation printing process, the prints exit the printer completely dry and ready to handle, and with the final overcoat layer, they are even water-resistant!

  • That means they are also marker ready in case you want to write a personal message on your photo. Prints produced with this technology can last up to 100 years4!

  • Use the free app for even more options

SELPHY Layout is the free companion app for the SELPHY printers that let you print, edit, and add fun effects right from your Smartphone. Now updated to V3.0, the SELPHY Layout app lets you organize how you want to print your images.

  • You can create collages, choose which images you want to use for mini-stickers, add pattern overcoat effects, and even add QR codes to your prints to direct someone to a specific webpage.

  • New finishing options

Most dye-sub printers can only produce glossy prints (because the final overcoat layer is glossy), but Canon has learned how to change the texture of the final print so that you can choose from glossy, semi-gloss and satin finishes.

  • Additionally you can Print patterns into the overcoat layer to give your images a subtle pop of texture.

    Best Compact Printer Ever!

This small little printer is probably one of the best purchase I did in a while. I love the quality of the photos. It’s perfect for my photo booth I use at family events. It’s quick dying and give you the best quality photos ever. I really hope they come out with one that does up to 5 x 7s. The quality can’t be touched. Easy to use too. Either use it directly or with the canon SELPHY app. My photos shows you how it prints.
