Q: Can i use another brand of photo paper
A: As I understand it, "Zink" paper is easily interchangeable between these little printers as long as you get the right size.
Q: Is this photo paper archival quality for scrapbooking?
A: Hey there, zink doesn’t provide info on the longevity of their photo paper... similar brands state 9-12 years depending on exposure... I’m sad to say this is likely the case... which means unless you intend to cover the pics in your scrap book with something else, I’d say you want to revisit in 20 years, it may very well be faded. I am also still researching whether the sticky back is archival or will eventually disintegrate the paper it’s adhered to in a journal or scrapbook.
Q: Does this paper work on the Canon instant print cameras since they also use zink paper?
A: No. The HP Sprocket Zink photo paper was made specifically for HP Sprocket printers.
Q: Does this printer paper have ink and you just insert it into the hp printer and that’s all?
A: The printer doesn't use ink. I uses a technology called Zink (zero ink). The special zink paper is thermal and so the printer uses no ink.
