Q: Will It cut off when u cut the vehicle off or does it stay on
A: Great question! ShadowGPS device keeps tracking even after you turn the vehicle off and it's parked. While parked, it checks the car's location every 4 hours, so your location stays accurate and up to date even when the engine isn't running. It won't simply cut off when you shut the vehicle down.

Q: So if the unit was removed from the vehicle does it indicate removal in the app?
A: If the unit is removed from the vehicle, the app immediately notifies you that the device has been disconnected. Additionally, the device has a built-in backup battery, which allows you to continue tracking the location of the removed device for approximately 20–30 minutes after it’s unplugged. This gives you visibility into where the device (and vehicle) may be taken right after removal.
Q: What is the difference between the $49 GPS and the $200 GPS?
