Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a solid upgrade over the original SmartTag. The new design feels more durable, the battery life is noticeably longer, and the improved range makes tracking much more accurate. The redesigned loop is sturdy and attaches easily to keys, bags, or even a pet collar without feeling flimsy. “Lost Mode” and the directional guidance work smoothly, and the tag updates its location consistently when near Samsung devices. Setup through the SmartThings app is quick and simple, especially if you already use a Samsung phone. If you're in the Samsung ecosystem, this is one of the most useful accessories you can add. Reliable, easy to use, and definitely worth it.

The Galaxy SmartTag2 has been very reliable and easy to use. Setup with the Samsung SmartThings app was quick, and tracking works accurately, especially when paired with a Samsung phone. Location updates are fast, and the nearby search feature makes it easy to find items at home using sound and direction guidance. I like the improved design and durability, and battery life has been excellent so far, which means less worry about frequent replacements. It’s been useful for keeping track of keys and bags, and the app interface is clear and intuitive. If you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem, this tracker is a great alternative and works seamlessly. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives peace of mind.

I’ve used this regularly for quite a while now, and it’s been extremely helpful. I mainly use it to keep track of everyday items I tend to misplace, and it has saved me a lot of time and frustration. Setup was straightforward, and it works exactly as advertised. The tracking has been reliable, the app is easy to use, and I like that I can quickly locate my items without any hassle. Battery life has been solid, and I haven’t had any connectivity issues. It’s one of those products you don’t think much about until you realize how often you rely on it. Overall, I’m completely satisfied with it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants an easy, dependable way to keep track of their things.

It's a compact and easy-to-use tracker for anyone who wants to locate everyday items like keys, a purse, or a backpack. It connects to your Galaxy smartphone via Bluetooth and works with the SmartThings Find app, helping you find lost items within a range of about 120 meters. The replaceable battery (CR2032) has a long lifespan—up to about 500 days with normal use—and the device is also water and dust resistant (IP67), which increases its durability.

I use these products for my dogs on the collars to keep track of them if they ever get out or run off. But I also used them for my special needs adult child keychain. it gives me peace of mind. And if he misplaces them, I can find them for him without causing a big scene, they'd be great for other products like ipads clip on a phone. Especially for people with dementia, Alzheimer's or special needs. And I also have one attached to my ebike, so if it gets lost, I will find it, and it's so easy to change the batteries.I appreciate that!

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 is a notable upgrade from its predecessor, delivering enhanced tracking performance, improved durability, and an extended battery life, all while maintaining its ease of use. One of the standout features is its new compact, water-resistant design (IP67-rated), which makes it far more versatile for outdoor use. Whether you’re attaching it to luggage, keys, or even a pet’s collar, it feels built to last. The redesigned ring-shaped body is not only stylish but practical, allowing it to hook easily onto various items.

This product does exactly what I want it to do! Read the manual to set it up even though it is pretty intuitive and quick to do. I really like the history function within the menus where you can go in and see where the item has been over specific calendar dates. I don't like losing items. I do lose myitems. I wish I got better keeping my items. I AM trying. Whenever I do screw up, it's good to have a product like this on hand. I really don't think I'll win any kind of raffle for a big Best Buy gift card to submit this review, but I do believe that anyone on the fence about this product should know that it's pretty cool. I really wish that the product was louder because I think that sometimes you might lose an item in a noisy environment and then you want to be able to hear the tag alert sound when you're trying to get closer and find it. Still, it's okay and I don't want to return it.

put it on my keys and if i get far away (like walking the dog), my watch notifies me it is out of distance and i can check it on the phone ap. got it for travel this summer- should work great in a suitcase.

Reminds me not to forget my keys behind. Looks great and works good. Can also purchase single one. Must have gadget with android phones even if you don't forget very often. Good range.

Excellent samsung smarttag. The ramge one this one is far better than the predecessor amd it has UW connectivity so that it can be found without making noise. It also has a button wich has sooo many functions that even that apple airtag does not have. Overall this is an excellent upgrade from the previous samsung smarttag and probably the best Bluetooth tracker on the market!

Great gadgets for keeping track of elderly parents and their lost keys, etc. Also a reliable way for them to notify me of an emergency and their location. They each wear one around their neck, so they can always alert me, even when they forget to carry their cell phones. Just push the button and I immediately get a customized message requesting help. All i have to do is follow the app on my phone to their precise location.

Easy to set up, easy to use, battery lasts more than a year, really somes in handy to find me key and my bag

Love them.. they are small and fit easy where you need them. The battery last long unless you keep them in the cold. But is a easy replacement if you need to

After my last tracker went out I looked to upgrade. This has to be the best one I've tried, they are extremely accurate and the battery on my last one lasted years, all through highschool and undergrad. I keep one on my keys, bookbag, and even dufflebag for when I travel.

The design is small and sleek. I keep one in my bacpack and another in the sling dag I daily drive. The device pairs easy and ypu have access through the Samsung SmartThings app. Tracking works well, and there are a plethora of sounds you can setup for a ring tone.

If you have one of the flagship Samsung Galaxy phones with UWB (Ultra Wide Band) the Search Nearby feature helps you find the SmartTag2 using the camera with onscreen arrows to point you in the right direction with the distance to the Tag displayed in real-time, all without sound, though a Ring button is there if you want your Tag to play a sound. Without UWB the location finding is done using Bluetooth, less accurate, more guessing. Replacing the battery is much easier on SmartTag2, use a paperclip to push the battery (CR2032) tray out. The previous gen of the tag required you to unsnap the clam shell design using a guitar pick or similar.

It was so easy to set up and works like a charm. I used it over the Thanksgiving holiday in a very crowded airport and was able to locate my bag within just a couple of moments. Thanks!

First time using this product. I purchased that device to keep track of my expensive travel bag in case it was lost or misplaced at the airport. Having this added security provides comfort knowing that i can find my bag and electronic valuables if I or the airport misplaces it. The easy of setup and user friendly interface allows me to easily keep track of my luggage. This reduces that extra anxiety during the travel process so you can better enjoy your trip to that special destination. I highly recommend this product and i will personally be purchasing more devices to keep up with everyday items i tend to misplace.

Samsung does tech really well and the SmartTag2 was no exception. From the ease of setting up to their compact and sleek design, they hit a homerum when it comes to this product.
