The chime is distinct and loud enough for you to hear it several rooms away. I had to buy more for my kids. They love it too.

As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our product line, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Support. I was at the airport by luggage claim, and the device never connected, so i had to manually get my luggage's myself. now i cannot return the product after 30 days.

Products sold by Samsung are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the limited 12-month warranty period specified for each product. If the SmartTag is frozen and unresponsive, you can reset the SmartTag. First, remove the battery by opening the battery cover groove. After pressing and releasing the button once, insert the battery while pressing the button again and hold it for 5 seconds until the SmartTag makes a sound. GPS signals may be obstructed in some locations, such as indoors. Set the mobile device connected to the SmartTag to use Wi-Fi or a mobile network to find the current location in these situations. If this persists, please reach out to us at Support for additional assistance. -Kelvin

I like the fact that i can have it alery me if i leave my wallet behind. There are tons of other features including setting routines if you have a smart home and use smarthings.

It did not work with it as it only works with Samsung phones. Too bad, it would be nice to have this tracking device for my luggage, keys, and wallet.
