Bought this to replace and older Samsung watch and it has been great. Last most of the week on a single charge. The app needed to pair it and customize is a little confusing but not to bad.

But, when you get it you dont know how you could live with this this one. Totally useful for your keys, backpacks, luggage or even with your pets.

With this smartag, I feel better that I will less likely to lose it.

It also is in a much better form factor then the previous one as well. The added lost item functionality is also fantastic. I find the battery to last multiple months longer as well. And the button works perfect.

Unfortunately it can't be used with iPhones even through the Smartthings app. Also doesn't provide live tracking. Does a great job of locating stationary objects when other Samsung devices are nearby.

We value your candor as we continue to improve the performance and functionality of our product line. The Galaxy SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network assist with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. You are correct, the Galaxy SmartTag2 is not compatible with iOS devices (iPhones) and only works with Galaxy devices. They are much easier to use and respond much quicker than my old tiles did. I do not have a newer tile so I cannot accurately compare that to this but this was super easy to set up and use and I'm very happy with the interface
