I lost my backpack twice, and i found it with the galaxy tag. I would recommend it for someone with a backpack or anything valuable in a bag.

I read that the battery keeps working for years, but in my case it was necessary to replace after few months, and after the replacement the tags just lost connection with my cell phone, it was necessary to start everything from ground zero, so it was not really just a battery replacement, but a exercise of patience.

As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our products, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. I put it on my elderly father's keychain, so I can keep track of him when he goes missing. He can also send a distress call to my phone by pushing the button and I can use my phone to locate his lost keys.

They made it easy to find our travel cases at the airport. They saved us time great if your behind.

If you are looking for something you can track when you're miles away, THIS is the one for you. In comparison to the Tile, it only allows you to locate when around 250ft away with bluetooth, whereas this one uses PTP connection, allowing you to track its exact location at ANY time. Great product!

Bought this to replace and older Samsung watch and it has been great. Last most of the week on a single charge. The app needed to pair it and customize is a little confusing but not to bad.

It also is in a much better form factor then the previous one as well. The added lost item functionality is also fantastic. I find the battery to last multiple months longer as well. And the button works perfect.
