I purchased 2 Samsung tags. However, I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. Nevertheless, when trying to pair them with my phone, it was not an easy task, especially for the first unit. The 2nd unit was much easier to connect and set up for use.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. I love this tracker I'm probably going to get another one! Location updates frequently and it supports UWB to help me easily find it's precise location.

Does not work with any device other than a Samsung device. This is not clear from the listing. It will not work with apple (obviously) but also not other android devices, like the Google pixel. I bought this as androids answer to the airtag. It is not that solution.

Not many choices besides Tile for non-iPhones. Purchased for my son so he can find the car keys when he misplaces them, again. The built in ring is a money saver feature. No need to purchase an additional item.

They were easy to pair with my Samsung smartphone. I'm looking forward to using them. Also, the Best Buy online price was bettet than the Samsung price.

Works perfect . But batteries bout dead out the box lol.

I regret buying these new tags. They were not as good as the old tags i had bought. The ringer to these are not very loud, even when you put the sound on the highest level. A few times i have misplaced my keys and wallet and after ringing them, i could not find them because they were under 2 thin garments. The garments were not thick enough to have covered the sound, but it did. My old ones had a loud alarm, i could hear them even if my wallet was dug under my thick blanket.

These advanced trackers, attachable to almost any item, can be easily located via the SmartThings app without incurring additional costs for basic tracking services. These devices are designed to work seamlessly with Galaxy phones and tablets equipped with the latest SmartThings app version. A single device can manage up to 200 SmartTags, though wireless communication limits may restrict simultaneous connections. It's important to note that each item can only be associated with one SmartTag at a time. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. You do not have to be within a designated distance from your SmartTag2 in order to be able to track your belongings.
