This is a nice, basic Android tablet. I have an iPad3 and had an iPad mini that my neice fell in love with so much I wound up giving to her. I wanted something small enough to be very portable that would fit in my purse easily for basic web browsing, to read books, play afew games, check emails and Facebook and Twitter without spending a fortune. I have an android phone so I wanted to give an android tablet a try. This tablet fit my needs perfectly. The screen resolution and response are basically the same as the iPad mini was. It runs very smooth and the speed on the internet is fine for the needs of most people. It easily loads a web page in afew seconds most of the time. The battery life is excellent. It can easily go all day with moderate to heavy use and still have 25% battery life left. It charges very quickly too. It only comes with 8 gigs of onboard memory but you can add up to a 64 gig memory card which is an option you don't have with Apple. The Android market is great and has thousands of books, TV shows, apps, movies, and many are at a much lower price than than the App Store for my iPad or even free. I do have to stay a little bit closer to my router for the same WiFi signal strength with this than with my iPad. It's important to understand you're not going to get a top of the line tablet for with an ultra high resolution screen and super fast processor for $199.99. A lot of people will complain when they don't. However this tablet works absolutely fine. It does what I bought it to do and serves its purpose well.

Bought as a gift and felt I got a good buy for the money. Dont like that you can only print to a Samsung printer and the audio leaves something to be desired

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and love the interface -- thought I'd love to use the tab, but it had a horrible wifi range. I'd have 4 bars on my phone and none on the tab. Made me insane so I took it back.

I bought this for my girlfriend, so I don't use it much at all. It is a very nice tablet, I just don't like all of the Bloatware Samsung puts on their devices. All in all, it's a nice tablet for the price.

I previously had a Kindle and wanted an upgrade. I purchased the galaxy not because I currently have a Samsung G3, and am pleased with it. The Kindle was purchased 13 months ago, and I had brought it in to Best Buy 3 times with problems resulting in having to get a new Kindle 3 times. It was covered by warranty, but still problematic. Even with all of the problems with the kindle, I feel that it is a better product. I am completely underwhelmed by the galaxy note. I ended up giving it to my daughter.

I need either a instruction booklet with larger print or a teenager with patience to show me how to use it. I am learning daily what it can do and what I can do with it.

I feel this device even slower than tab 2 7"...open new app or tab is not smooth at all...

would have liked to find out more about the tab from the sales person would have gone for something more that I needed

this is a great tablet but when I wen t to charge it after a few times it wouldn't charge it broke no charger would charge it that is a sucky thing about it

My son bought this tablet and he has gone to the store twice becuase it freezes. They exchanged it onces and iy still countinues to freeze once in awhile

it just need more speed when touch it it don't register it take a least 2 seconds of my time but everything else cool

Average. Short battery life. Not the same apps as iPhone which I am used to. Still trying to figure this thing out.

my daughter really wanted this and now she wishes she'd gotten something different.. it works really slow

Got this as a gift. Primarily used for Candy Crush. This is the only reason I did not get an iPad instead.

It does what it suppose to do. It is not a bad tablet. It does similar to what other tablets do!

I like it but wouldn't buy another so quick.maybe mine just is a fluke. Should say for my daughter.

my mother-in-law is able to use this well. she enjoys it without too much difficulty/confusions.

Can't go wrong with this. Great value for the money. Wished it had longer battery life.

Not as good as I thought it would be I have the note 2014 and am a little dissatisfied
