Had to return this tablet the day after I bought it. It would lock up on me when I was looking at maps. I bought (4) of the 10in tabletsfor Christmas gifts, with no problems. The sales lady told me they do this because the processor is to small. Another sales lady from a different store store told me the processors were the same for the 10in as well as the 7 and 8in. I don't get it..

I was given this tablet for free after purchasing a tv. I have used it for over a month and not impressed at all.

Great for a savy user, I would recommend this device to a knowledgeable user, not a beginner without assistance.

Since last Christmas I've purchased three of these tablets for various family members. Two for my young children and one for my mother (I'm actually here because I'm considering buying another one, for my sister). Technically, one the tablets is a Tab 3 "Lite" but everything I say applies to it as well. Not a single issue so far. Good battery life. Bright, colorful display. Smaller size makes it easy to handle. I've installed and uninstalled tons of apps on my kids tablets and there's been no loss in performance. All of the basic apps perform as they should. These tablets aren't loaded with power and features but for the money I think they're unbeatable.

Very small display was expecting it to be larger, slow inconsistent connection to WiFi, low memory.

It's ok but in hindsight I would have gotten the iPad instead as it is much more user friendly.

It's great for basic surfing. Anything beyond that, no dice. Spend the extra and get an iPad mini or an android tablet that is packing a better processor. Ps. It's super awkward to hold. You'll always hit the return button.

if I had known you couldn't put Adobe Flash Player on it I would not have purchased it.

i love this tablet but the only thing that trips me out is how slow it it.

So, we got a Tab 3 bundle for $150. For $150, the price is right for a tablet that will be used by the kids for watching video and playing with kid apps. From my initial experience, the RAM gets used up fast, but just kill live apps and you should be good (long-press on Home key). Android tablet software takes a little getting used to -even if you're an android phone user- but that's how it is with everything... even i-products. I can't believe the reviews on here that "I couldn't understand it out of the box / Where's the manual?"; some things just need figuring out# Also, software can get updated often rendering manuals obsolete# = rear cam is only good in well-lit areas; no flash# front cam very good for skype though = video playback is very very good; if you load movies on the card or stream, this device pays for itself after a few long plane rides or road trips; soothe your kids on long flights when you're out of benadryl = my S3 has MHL capability, as does the Tab 3 8-inch and 10-inch; so why it's not on this 7-inch is crazy? MHL allows one to connect the device to a TV using a special adapter and hdmi cord; once you use this setup, you'll love it, which is why it's weird samsung left it off the 7-inch# you CAN use allShare if you've been able to figure it out = it's a little heavy, but that's ok# although you're not going to be able to hold it up laying down for a long time before you're hands start to cramp = the screen is BRIGHT# blindingly so = good GPS, WiFi, etc = if you're familiar with Android, the Tab3 should be navigable with a few quirks that will become habit = our Tab 2 had a multi-pin connector for charging; the Tab3 uses the universal micro-usb so you can use any of your other chargers# nice = i don't play hardcore games, but Plants vs Zombies 2 never slowed the Tab3 down which is my only real benchmark lol = whatever you can do with your android phone you can pretty much do it on the Tab3. except make calls, silly All in all - really good value if you can find at $125. I got one of those $50 android tablets that you might find at walmart or groupon. Those are GARBAGE avoid at all costs - the Tab3 is a good solution if you don't want to shell out $$$ for the admittedly better products. [I haven't rooted, no need to.]

I really like samsung tab 2 better it is faster !.

Not impressed at all with the screen response. I also have access to a note 8 which is much more responsive. navigation stopped working and I had to factory reset the tablet. Outside of the price, this tablet is not very good value.

This Galaxy has gone dead, wont switch on and I am unable to return it because I am in the UK on business - so what do I do with it? Best Buy is not in the UK...

Returned within 24 hours. Slowest tech I have owned. Got an IPad mini instead and haven't looked back. Don't waste your cash.

Hard to use.. won't load games, very slow.. not user friendly

This tablet is amazing, my first tablet. Had done a lot of research before purchasing this tablet. Was back and fourth between the Galaxy Tab 3 and The Nexus 7. But because the Nexus 7 didn't have expandable memory, I went with the Tab 3. I don't care that the Tab 3 does not have a flash on the camera, because if you have a regular camera, or a cell phone, like I do. Theirs no reason for a flash on a tablet, And Samsung clearly stated no flash on Tablets on there website. And they weren't trying to hide it. I chose the White because when I went to look in the store at the Gold, Brown color, the Brown was too dark, almost black. It didn't look good in my opinion. The Smart Remote is vary easy to use, it works on Sony Flat Screen LCD TV's. Volume is amazing. A 7 inch is a perfect size for me, since I have a desktop at the house. I haven't really found any cons yet.

I love my tablet. I upgraded from the Galaxy Tab2 to the Tab3 but wanted a smaller sized tablet, so I went from the 10.1 Tab2 to the 7.0 Tab3. There aren't many things/issues that i have encountered so far with my tablet other than the WI-FI connection drops at times and seems to lag a bit, but that seems to be something across the entire Samsung fleet. I got a smaller size because i really only use this for reading on my Kindle app. I am not really a heavy internet browser. But i am trying to force myself to do more with my products. I just wish they put the 4.2 software in the 7.0 like they did with the 8.0 and 10.1. To me that just doesn't make sense.

I have been looking for a small tablet for my 11 year old niece for about a year. And I almost bought her a mini but I did not want to spend the money for a 32 gb. When I saw this at Best Buy, I was pleasantly surprised. I compared it to my mini and I can honestly say that I am pleased with the purchase. I overheard my niece telling her big sister, who has an ipad 3, that she loves it. Samsung was a good choice for us. I asked my niece to tell me if she has any problems with wifi, heat, or slow performance. She has been playing with it constantly and she has not had any problems. I bought her a 16 gb card , stylus, and a purple case and she is very pleased. Just so you know she downloads magazines & books in the epub and pdf format. She even underlines, highlights and xooms into the documents. and the text is still clear and crisp.

GREAT tablet, bought 2 one for me one for my 23 year old daughter, We love it!! Tab is fast and works excellent!! Battery life last 12 hour without charge with constant use. Android app market so convenient. We would definitely buy again.

This tablet is an excellent buy for the non techy user, someone who just wants a good working, easily understood and long battery use tablet. Samsung has a winner here. Sure they could have put more in it for the price, but Samsung quality is top notch. I highly recommend this tablet. The size makes it easy to take on trips. Most hotels, restaurants and airports have wi fi connections which this tablet includes.
