I bought it for my daughter's birthday and she loves it.

I bought this tablet for my fiance for her 30th birthday. She fell in love with at first sight. She uses it to read books, surf the net, Facebook, and so forth. She is getting acclimated with it. This is her first tablet.

I really wanted to like this! i picked this unit because you can add memory and because it has GPS built in. The GPS seems to work fine. The main problem I have is that with every other Android device i've owned, if you add a memory card, you can then choose to install apps to it instead of the built in memory. For some reason you can not do this with the Galaxy Tab 3. Why?? You only have 5.42 GB of useable space on this. So a memory card is a must. But most people put a lot of apps/games/movies on these things, so that won't go far. With no option to install apps to the memory card, this thing will fill up VERY quickly. You can hook this to your computer and add movies to the memory card(slowly), but that is about it. Movies look and sound great and I would love to keep this, but do not want to have to go through the trouble of having to delete an app every time I want to install another because I don't have enough memory. Wifi is spotty at best. Even with full bars I can't get web pages to load half the time. Email loads with placeholders for the pictures but the pictures never show. It will be returned this weekend. Really disappointed.

this tablet has brought my daughter joy that no other thing has brought her to date. the app market is huge and this little thing is so stable. its been the best gift ive ever bought and plan to buy another for my other kids soon.

I bought 3 samsubg tablets for christmas, one for each of my kids. I bought 2-10 inch an 1-8 inch with the kid features. Within the last several weeks all three all of a sudden simultaneously started having issues. My daughters woudn't charge and therefore went dead. My oldest sons will start to turn on but keeps restarting over and over and won't load to the home page, and my youngest daugthers won't charge eiher. Trying to get samsung to assist has been challenging as well. Their customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Good luck trying to get them to understand a word you say and vise versa. For the 3 months they worked they were fantastic. Unfortunately I will be sticking with apply from now on. My kid have had their ipods for years and never had any major issues and when we did we took them to the apple store and they fixed it for free within seconds.

a bit small for us with big hands, but works out great for the kids. keep them off my 10' pad. service the purpose.

Awesome tablet for small business or student. Pretty quick os just uses battery a little too quickly for my taste and constantly needs recharging

I bought this thing for my youngest daughter, she seems to love it. So I'm happy

bough it for my little guy... so he won't bother to ask me for the phone again...runs smoothly.

Perfect tablet for the price. It will do everything you need it to do. Resolution is great and I would recommed to anyone.

My experience with the tablet has been pleasant. It meets my daily usage needs.

Within three days of buying this tablet, I had to send it back for repair. Apps would not connect to the internet through wi-fi (even though I had 4 bars for strength of signal). By pressing the power button, volume up button and home key at the same time, tablet should reset itselt back to factory settings. Mine does not. Tablet turns itself off at random times with no one touching the tablet. Took 90 minutes to download a 34 megabyte app. When the tablet was sent back the first time to be fixed, the issue's that I had with the tablet before repair are still happening. Tablet was never fixed. When I call Samsung and ask for the tablet to be replaced with a new one, Samsung says no. It is their policy to repair only. I told them it is my policy to sell pieced of garbage like this tablet on ebay as a broken item and get what I can for the item and never purchase anything from that company again.

I love my galaxy tab. It's just what I need in a tablet.

This is my first tablet and it is easy to use and set up.

I felt well built and after a months of rugged use it has held up very well. Can't complain for that price it is probably the best.

I bought this Tablet for my daughter on Jan 14, 2014. On Feb 16 we took it in because it went completely dead. Best Buy wouldn't replace it and instead Geek Squad took over to fix it. 2 weeks later we got it back and a month later it stopped working again. Bottom line, twice more we went through the same ordeal. Today it stopped again for the 4th time. We took it in and all Best Buy will do is send it in for repair. I have spent hours on the phone with Samsung as well. They say that since the first time the unit was service by Best Buy it is showing up as a refurbished product and they won't honor their 1 year warranty. Both Best Buy and Samsung have seen the end of me as their customer (not to mention a pair of 10 and 11 year old kids).

Ok, So I'm not typically a reviewer, in fact I wouldn't usually take the time to do something like this, but I feel I owe it to the rest of the world to at least try to prevent them from making a huge mistake. We bought these for ourselves and the kids because of the 7" size. My wife and I both had Ipad Mini's and our kids had 1st Gen Ipads. HUGE mistake... This was like trading in the BMW 7 series for a Nissan Versa. Battery life is probably 1/4 of what we can get out of our Ipad Minis, Camera takes God Awful pictures and 9 out of 10 apps dont work properly as they are either shutting off when you are in the middle of the app, or they just aren't downloadable because they aren't compatible. I couldn't count the number of times these Galaxy Tabs have locked up on us and believe me, when you have had an Apple Ipad and have experienced a great tablet, you are going to notice the MAJOR differences. Save your money, or even spend a little more and buy an Apple Ipad. If you are cheap and want something you can use maybe an hour a day, this is the way to go, but if you are going to be having heavier use or even have a 5 year old like myself that wants her games to work correctly, then you need to go Ipad.

i upgraded my modem and router to the latest and greatest thinking that was the issue of a slow connection.... NOT!!!... Samsung tab 3 7.0... i would not recommend at all. i think dial-up was faster than this. You get what you pay for. I would rather add another hundred to get the 8.0. which is way faster.

I bought this tablet with my birthday money. I needed one that has expandable memory, wi-fi, but wan't too expensive, yet portable enough to fit in my purse. This was really pretty on the shelf and worked great while I was in the store. Wi-fi is sluggish, smart remote wouldn't store info from one use to the next, some of the apps wouldn't open, games ran slowly, jerkiness in screen movement at time. Staff wouldn't believe me that the tablet was defective either because it worked when they plugged it in when I finally got to the store to return it. I was really disappointed in this tablet, but sadly I lived too far away to get back to the store with the receipt within their much too short return period and ended up getting the shaft. Now I'm stuck with instore credit and can't buy the tablet I really want to replace it with. Happy birthday to me! Now I get to sit on the cash I had spent in the store until I can find a decent price for a tablet the carry that I really want.

The resolution quality is awful. Spend a little extra money for the 8". Well worth spending the extra money for a far superior tablet. The 7" is just an overprice tablet with a slow processor and non-hd display.
