Bought one of these to replace my first generation iPad. That was a HUGE mistake! The applications available for it are just pathetic in comparison to what I was using. Very tablet specific apps. Mostly apps designed for a phone and just blown up to cover the screen rather than leverage the extra screen real estate to add more features. The UI is completely unintuitive. I figured it all out but I had to look a lot of things up online to figure out how to use it's features because much of it wasn't very obvious. After further research I come to find out that there's all kinds of malware and exploits out there for Android. An almost 700% increase in viruses and malware quarter over quarter? Are you kidding me? I should have done my research. I blew it. Ah well, next time I'll buy another iPad or try one of those Windows tablets. I saw dollar signs when I bought this. But it's just one more example of getting what you pay for.

If I knew that it was so slow I would've bought a $70 no name. My kids don't even want to use it. Just typing this review was a pain. At least the picture quality and sound are good.

Very disappointed that the device stopped charging after only 3 months. The device was still under warranty, but Samsung would not repair it claiming "physical damage". The device was in a protective case from day 1 and very well taken care of. Samsung wanted to charge $99 to have the device repaired, which is almost the cost of what I paid for it brand new. I will stick to iPad, at least I know their customer service is always great.

I dont think this tablet is going to make you happy. First of all, its very slow. All the other features are great such as the screen multi-taksing, new settings, and the other features. The battery overheats pretty quick and you wont be able to play games for more then 5 minutes without being overheat. My biggest problem is that the internet is slow; and I mean SUPER slow. The tablet responds very slow. Its going to make you angry at some point. I think its not worth it to buy. Id suggest getting the Kindle Fire or an Ipad.

We bought two last November... Put them up for Christmas... My girl is 10, son is 7... They both could use the devices easily.... Then my sons wouldn't power on at all...changed cord... Still nothing...then a month later my daughters did the same..... We had insurance on both... So they refunded the money as in store credit.... Just thought the product with soo many great reviews would be better.... I read lot of reviews and checked several sites... Just was not happy that they both broke!

Got this tab during thanks giving sale. It gets overheated after an hour continuous use itself . So I am planning to return it to the store

I have Nexus which is fast. The Galaxy tab bought 2 months ago is so slow for internet. Because of this it feels everything is bad. It makes your 25 MBPS internet speed look as if you have reached the 52KbPS modem age of 1990's Today I came to exchange it because I saw an advertisement about exchange program and I am here posting this message.

i purchased this tablet for my five year old son. He loves seeing Disney Junior videos on my iPad2. Unfortunately, this tablet "does not support the playback" of the videos. I downloaded several Disney cartoon apps but they were either Spanish or British. Therefore, I deleted them. I should have invested on the mini iPad instead. I will be returning this item .

Bought this tab 3 on Xmas eve for my father for his first tablet experience. Died 12/31. Should have known not to buy another Samsung product as all Sammy products I buy have defects or other issues because of poor QC in manufacturing. Will be chucking this thing back to the best buy customer service counter and buying him a surface or ipad.

This tablet sucks. Maybe if you're buying it to babysit your 7yo it's a good unit, but for an adult with work to do it blows. I wish I'd never bought it in the first place, and now it won't turn on. It's been attached to the charger all day. Brick.

I bought this item last week, and not even a full week later it wont hold a charge. Wont turn on at all, and now have to take it back. Plus all the items I bought for it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
