I have to say originally I wanted an iPad but they're way too expensive. I also don't like the way the iPad does not have memory expansion and is lock into Apple type stuff. The Samsung Galaxy with perfect for me considering I was about to buy a Kindle instead of the iPad but the Kindle again, is also locked into Amazon stuff. The Samsung seems to be the mostuser friendly item out there that is not locked into company only type stuff like Apple and Amazon. What sold me was the fact that I can use voice to text to speak into it to post anything that I would like including this review itself. I am very happy with my tablet I bought in fact I bought a 8 inch for myself and a7 inch for both of my sons. Good job Samsung!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago..so far no complaints. I have an iPad 2 wouldn't trade tab for it.. ease of use is remarkable.

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the 8" version but I love it. Its the perfect size. I mainly use it for web, games and checking mail. Battery life has been great. 2 things that arent so great. Thought it would be just a little faster when multitasking. For example, if your downloading something and you do someghing else during the download the tablet has a bit of lag. But I am very happy with my purchase.

This was a gift for my husband because his job decided to go to electronic signatures so it's big enough for him to see but not to big for him to lug around to all the dealerships. We have Samsung phones so once I helped him set it up he got the hang of it, although he is very computer illiterate so he still has issues with anything computer related. I think the price was a little high but you can't do electronic signatures on a kindle to I got him this instead. If it's anything like the Samsung galaxy phones then the screen should be pretty tough.

I finally got around to getting myself a android tablet after an adventure into the apple world. I never really liked iOS, so I've been itching to get back into the android OS. The 8 inch version was perfect for me. The Tab 3 is fast, responsive, and pretty much does what I wanted it to, which is internet and music. The Samsung Rep at the Henrietta, NY store was very helpful and wasn't pushy at all.

This tablet is very easy to use and the picture is so clear that things come to life.

I got this to be able to read my required reading at work when it got slow and I love it! I load all the reading material at home and do not have to worry about an internet connection. It's like a bigger version of my phone but the screen is way bigger! I've noticed that the apps are a little pricier than the phone but the content is more robust - you DO get what you pay for. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. It was a great investment for returning in returning to college.

I love this tablet, I like the weight and portability and the screen quality

I was going to buy a 10 inch tablet, but then saw this on display and held it and played with it for a bit. I instantly loved the feel in my hands, so figured I would buy it and try it out, knowing I had 15 days to return it if I didn't like it. It was pretty good, but I had a Galaxy S3 cell phone, and this felt like an exact replica with a bigger screen, which is fine, but I wanted my tablet to feel different from my phone. So, after doing some research, I decided to exchange it for an LG G Pad 8.3 and that thing blew this out of the water in every which way. It was $80 more, but soooo worth it, in my opinion. Now, there wasn't really anything wrong with the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. I'm just very picky and want to have the best, so I prefer the LG Pad 8.3. If you're just a casual user that uses the tablet for surfing the net, social media, and doesn't need the fastest speed or prettiest screen in the world, then this should be just fine for you.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it. She uses it for reading books, listening to music, Facebook, and taking pictures. Does everything she needs. Not too big, not too small.

I am not the most tech-savvy user, but I was able to get the tablet set up with my email and Facebook in just a few minutes. It has lots of features that I haven't even begun to use yet (I've only had it 3 days), but every day I am trying things, adding apps and getting more out of it. I wanted something that I could use to mainly check my email and Facebook account that had a bigger screen and more features than my phone, and this definitely does all that and more.

I thought it was perfect until I tried to watch a video from my amazon prime account which requires adobe flash. Unfortunately, Adobe Flash cannot be downloaded onto the device in order for me to watch the videos. Otherwise, it is a great size, very quick and easy to use.

Easy to use, great quality, it gets used often. Good battery life. I would not have chosen anything different.

Got this as a gift for my dad he loves it never puts it down and it was easy for him to figure it out

I am very pleased with this galaxy since the images are sharper and it is much faster and larger.

Been pleased with everything this tablet has had to offer. Didnt want anything to big and its a perfect size for tossing in my bag and ready to go. Had couple friends tell me good things about their samsung before looking into getting mine and they were right ! It's great. Ive loved it.

This tablet is very user friendly. Has great screen resolution and can easily fit into my purse for when I'm on the go.

I'm still learning how to make use of many of the Samsung Tab3 8.0's features, but I ran into a roadblock when trying to view some websites online. What? Flash is not supported? Never expected that! I read reviews, but they must have applied to 7+10" Tab3. Other than that, most features are very good. The pop-up keyboard is suffucient size to use without a stylus, and I don't have thin fingers. It's compact and lightwgt enough to fit into a carry bag, with a case to protect it.

My son thinks this is the most amazing device on earth. He has all the video game consoles made and received many new games for Christmas, but he has yet to play with them, he has been consumed with the tablet. He uses it for everything. I don't even know how to use it, but he sure does. This is a great product. He used it to help him research for his Winter Break assignment (internet, calculator, etc.) Amaze Ballz!!!!!!!!!!
