I bought a 16GB 8" Tab 3 from Samsung primarily for two reasons: expandable storage (I also bought a 64GB microSD card) and ease of use. I own a Galaxy SII phone and the transition from the phone to the tablet was absolutly seamless. All in all, you can't beat that combo in terms of feature and price: 8 inch dispay, (almost) latest android OS, 80GB total storage - for less than $300.

Bought this tablet for my 70 year old parents. Very easy to pick up. Great picture and resolution.

I have a first generation Nook. I decided that it was time to upgrade so I went in looking for the new Nook. My wife wanted me to upgrade to a better small tablet (I already have the first gen iPad) but I was primarily looking for a reader. But, after looking at all the readers and tablets and talking to the Samsung store rep, I decided that this tablet was the proper fit for me. It is so much more than a reader. You are not limited to which store you can purchase books on (like the Nook) and I can browse the internet fast and look at videos (unlike the iPad). This tablet had just come out but the reviews were mostly all positive so that is why I decided on it. The price was good compared to the iPad mini and it does so much more.

Bought two of these tablets and both have worked great. They are easy to set up and within minutes you can start using them. The 8 inch size is very nice and looks much bigger than the 7 inch. The screen is crystal clear. I think Samsung has built a winner with this tablet and the new 8 inch size!!

So far I really like my Galaxy Tab 3 8". I don't know anything about apps and so it is a big learning curve for me. But I wanted it to be able to show relatives, who do not have computers, my trip photos. It is wonderful for that. Also I am excited to use if on an upcoming trip to take and e-mail pictures to family and friends. I have a laptop, but took it on a trip once and it was a pain. Too big. I probably won't use even half the stuff, but you never know, maybe I will learn how sometime. I would recommend this to others.

Staying with same brand as phone, which I like and wanted to stay with something that qm familiar with. Opted for tablet over laptop for now and would be able to travel easily as well if went on a trip. Am just using wifi on it for now, but could probably pick up net if needed at a later time.

I love this product. Took me several days to get used to Android system, but worth it. Love voice commands, don't have to type in a lot, swift ing key is a cool feature as well. Screen resolution is great. Too bad not all apps are supported, ex . can't download amex, cos not compatible with this version. Overall, the product is great, would recommend to everybody.

As an Apple fan from way back, I always thought I'd end up with an iPad. Problem was, I didn't have iPad money when I was in the market for a small tablet for home use. I'm always open to trying new technology, so I hefted the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8" at Best Buy and was duly impressed. Enough to plunk down money on one. Since then, I have been amazed by how versatile this tablet is. I read books on it, surf the Web, sketch logo ideas on it... This is fantastic technology and I am glad to have added it to my home.

The best option in this segment of tablets. I compared it to iPad mini, and Nexus 7, performance, design and functionality this team in my opinion is superior. I added a 64GB card which I can not do with my iPad, and this is a BIG advantage.

This is a great tablet. Screen size is great and easy to set up. It's a bit pricey for the simplicity, but overall a great tablet.

This is a great tablet. It meets my needs and as this is my first computer or tablet it is easy to learn. As far as video buffering it is a minor setback. This tablet is great to take on trips or while just relaxing, fits in the hand comfortably, crystal clear screen is a plus. the only other complaint is minor, Best Buy should have stocked cases to fit.

This item is perfect for anyone who is looking to get the most out of a tablet at the cheapeast price. It is basically an alternative to the iPad mini at a lesser price. The 50GB of free storage is also very helpful when looking for some extra space. However the expandable SD memory slot does the job just right. You won't be disappointed with this tablet.

Initially we we're going to buy an ipad but when we saw the Samsung with a little bigger screen, SD slot and the price was a little better we went with the Samsung...and our daughter loves it.

This is my first device smaller than a laptop and larger than a cell phone. It is the perfect size! I can hold it horizontal and type with my thumbs which is nice. I am a casual user. I like to surf the web, email, share photos, and there are so many other things I know are possible that I haven't had the opportunity to explore yet. This tablet is perfect!

I have really enjoyed my new tablet! I bought it primarily for my 3 yr old and he love love loves it. And with the extended warranty I never worry about him breaking it because it can be replaced :) perfect for playing apps and watching netflix, and of course emails, facebook, etc.

Bought for my wife as a bday present. Originally went to best but with the intention of buying the 7" Nexus Tab. But, after seeing the size difference between the 7 and 8" the decision was really tough because the price wasn't that much different. Decided on the 8" Samsung and glad I did. Features are great and pairs up perfectly with her S4 phone.

Easy toi use and navigation. Vaey fast and long last battery.
