I love tablet, love to watch Netflix, and play varies games.

This is my husbands first tablet and he is really liking it.

For some features its an awkward size such as typing email.

Purchased the tablet for my 7yo son. Samsung Chat can not be disabled Or uninstalled. It keeps having pops ups with girls trying to chat. My daughters ipad doesn't do that. Samsung needs to be a lottle more securable for childrwn.

I like Apple products, but the iPad gets slower and slower as time goes by. I understand this model is becoming out-dated, but a bit too soon...

So I was debating between this galaxy tab 3 8.0 or the iPad mini but obviously this won me over. Apple is good - I have iPhone and Mac book pro but - Samsung got the specs and functions right for this new tablet addition. Resolution is great, compared it side by side with the iPad mini. It doesn't matter what display technology they use. In the end, it's how it performs. RAM is double for faster processing. And I added a 64gb mini SD so storage is now maximum. 8.0 size is perfect. Plastic material? I don't care - it is light and I can grip it comfortably. I lost the ecosystem of my files and system to this tablet but honestly I'm very quite happy. Price tag is not bad either. Kudos to Samsung galaxy tab 3 8.0!

Save your money buy an iPad. Not fast, has some quirks. Most apps are geared towards iOS. Just buy the iPad!

Unless you are already familiar with similar devices, it is extremely difficult to figure out how to even use the most basic features. There needs to be a multi-page instruction book to guide a first time user through the steps necessary to, e.g., buy a book to download. I also found that I was continually "pushing buttons" unintentionally due to their location and sensitivity.

The on line manual is 209 pages. Samsung should offer an on line tutorial to teach people how to use this

I bought for my mother to use. She is struggling to learn, but seems to enjoy games.

I have a mini IPad in addition to this tablet. The graphics aren't quite as sharp, but it is fast and easy to hold. Sansung tech support has been wonderful with the few little problems I've had with my keyboard and email set up. I prefer doing business for apps with Amazon as opposed to iTunes with Apple. Amazon has many good apps for this tabler. II recently upgraded to this tablet when it came out and am delighted with the difference in last year's model and this new one. The screen size is great, can fit in a purse easily. The price is good and a good value for the money. I recommend it to friends starting out who have no computer knowledge as it is very easy to learn.

I like this tablet. I truly feel the price is too high though.
