use it everyday
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought it would be another toy/waste of money. If you just want to surf the web and send emails its cool. I apply for jobs, send/make resumes on it. Does almost everything my laptop does but its easier to carry around. Works great with my verizon hot spot phone.

Great tablet for anyone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is a great start for those who are use to the Android interface. It also is a nice tablet for those are not use to the interface. The screen quality is grand and crisp. A great edition to the tech savvy person or someone who would just like a tablet.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son's bought this for me, and love it! The perfect size for get ip n ho and handling. I am a beginner with technology I do wish they had more "how to" video's that would be helpful. I wake up looking forward to using it! I have the worlds best boys, so lucky!

Quirky Factory Installed Email Program
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed every feature of the Galaxy Note 8" tablet except for the factory-installed email program. I forward a lot of emails and am very careful to clean-up names and email addresses from an email before I forward it. Alerted by someone I email frequently that my emails contained names and email addresses from previous forwards, I continued my clean-up practice, but now added my address for a Bcc. I learned that even though I had cleaned-up the email, the Samsung program put the names and email addresses back into my email. So, I could originate an email but I would no longer forward one that contained names and email addresses of previous forwards. Since we have two tablets, a laptop, and a desktop my wife and I use to read out emails, I have the cable server set up to retain emails for three days after their receipt on the server. This tablet would randomly, but frequently download one/two/three day old emails that I had already downloaded, read, and trashed on this tablet; sometimes two and three times. I have emailed Samsung, taken the tablet to the Best Buy Samsung kiosk, spoken to Samsung tech support, and had a Samsung tech support rep control my tablet. No one had a clue how to fix this problem, but confirm it exists (and possibly also on all Samsung Android tablets). Yesterday I returned the tablet for a full refund as it was defective.

Awesome phone, lots of compliments
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gotten nothing but compliments from having and showing this phone. I have yet to have a problem out of the box since April 2014 when I made the purchase. Great phone!

Mediocre tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was disappointed with the quality of the display. It is definitely not up to the excellent displays of other Samsung tablets. The processor seems to be under powered as well.

Great product for a first time tablet user
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tablet! I've had it for about 10 days and have had no issues with it. It's great for gaming, Netflix, and web surfing. The one downside is the speakers don't have the best sound quality in my opinion.

Love Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy this tablet. I have all samsung products... TV, phone, dvd, and now a tablet. They can all be linked which makes them great to use. I have never had any issues with any of the products.

Great tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After researching for a couple months, I bought this just before Christmas. It has exceeded my expectations. Although the built-in cameras are not great, I did not buy the tablet for the cameras. Get a micro-usb to standard usb converter and you can add standard USB keyboard or USB flash drive.

Got no wifis :(
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the fence between this, and a Nexus 7(2013). Honestly I chose this for the larger screen size, figuring it would be nice to have the extra screen real estate. It was very nice looking, slightly pixelated text, but for the price of $249 I thought it was acceptable. It also has very nice color reproduction and brightness. The free software was a bonus too, came with 50gigs of dropbox storage. The keyboard is also the only one on Android I have found that is better than iPads/iPhones. I didn't really get to use anything else on the tablet however, because the wifi was unusable, it only worked about 4 feet from the router... I believe I just had bad luck, and got a defective unit, but I will be returning it for the Nexus 7. Bad quality control and horrible TouchWiz aren't worth the bother...

Easy to use for my family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it, GalTab3 8 fits nicely in hand. The store was back ordered on notebooks and screen protectors to fit it so I am going to buy them online.

Awesome tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another great Samsung product, like that I can mirror my Galaxy phone and Galaxy tablet. Only problem is that I had to order screen protector and case online bc the accessories are hard to find

reflects poorly on best buy and samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe best buy sold me a bad egg, maybe it's really not worth a penny...had to call the service center from overseas to try to extend my window of return. I was told to mail it back to someone in the USA so it could be returned. WOW. Then was discouraged from talking to a supervisor who the rep claimed would tell me the same thing. GOOD GOD. Was finally taken care of by said supervisor with a 3 minute conversation and a call to the store. Is geek squad purposefully teaching their reps to be useless? I took it overseas for work and now I have to hop back and forth between internet and chrome because one has a disabled search bar and the other can't open downloaded files...great in a time crunch. I've had it for 3 days, google chrome already crashes regularly. The zooming and copying capabilities are terribly inconvenient. What do you do with a keyboard that refuses to retract? I seriously can't download firefox? It's going back asap. 1) illogical settings RE: copy/paste 2) no clear way to retract a keyboard that takes up half the screen 3) system is already crashing and freezing 4) downloads from chrome don't work 5) search boxes on engines and email constantly freeze 6) polaris office set up is also illogical, it allows you to edit before giving the option to actually create a doc after some wear and tear and a few months? Maybe. After 3 days? Come on.
