This tablet was everything I was looking for, but there was one huge problem. Birthdays from Facebook were off by one day for the months of January-September. October-December were fine. Best Buy tried to help me with the issue by installing a different calendar, but the problem turned out to be with Samsung. Evidently this is a known issue with Samsung and they have no way of fixing it. So even though I loved the tablet I returned it as I need a calendar that is accurate. So disappointing that even Samsung couldn't help me.

So I've owned this for just a little under 48 hours and already my WiFi tab won't turn on. I have restarted, hard reset yet no improvement. It's going back tomorrow. Hopefully the replacement won't disappoint me. If it does, I'll have to consider another tablet. Too bad! I am a Samsung fan but this is really disappointing.

I bought a ipad mini and this tablet at the same time(one for me, one for my wife). I wasn't sure which one was better so I just bought them both. Well, that was a mistake, I should've just gotten two ipad minis(the price is similiar). Some issues I have with the galaxy: 1. The apps are designed for the phones and just scaled up, and the format is just strange in some cases. For the ipad, the apps are specifically designed for the tablets. 2. The battery life is shorter. 3. The ipad mini feels just better/comfortable/lighter in my hand. 4. When the virtual keyboard is brought up and you have the screen in the landscape mode, the keyboard pretty much takes up most of your screen and it's hard to see what i'm actually typing. 5. The screen, at times, freezes up(which is frustrating). It happens at certain specific instances(not random), which suggests that maybe the OS is little bit buggy on this hardware.

Purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8inch and returned it within 24 hrs. I pulled it out of the box and it appeared to be a unit that had been previously purchased as plastic was removed and messy. Accessory box would not close and factory would not pack it like that. I spent 6 hrs charging the thing and it never turned on. I unplugged and plugged in again and it started charging all over again. When it appeared to be 90% charged, I tried to turn it on. Nothing. I plugged it in again and it started recharging again and again. I re-boxed it and returned it the next day.
