This is a great little tablet but with the advent of the new technology it is a bit outdated. My daughter loves hers and uses it for work and personal use. I bought this one along with the Pro 8.4 when they were on sale and decided afterwards to go with the Pro 8

I do not have a Smart phone; still have the old small flip phone. However, my husband and daughter have the Samsung Smart phone so they help me out when I don't know what to do. I must say this little tablet has it all. So easy to cart around, and easy for someone like me that is not use to a tablet. I do wish the battery life would last longer, but I guess when you buy something smaller than a regular size tablet that is just the way it is. I first bought a Nexus tablet but returned it for the Samsung because the Samsung was so much easier to use; also a little bit bigger screen and much brighter screen.

I bought this tablet for grad school, I absolutely love it! Easy to use. Has a lot of space. Its so easy to use in class.

I like this tablet. It's fairly easy to use (although I am a Mac person and also have a Ipad which I think is easier.) I bought this tablet for my mother who is not such a technical person, She can use this at the couch and surfs the internet easily.

Good value for the price, bought it on sale. Able to download info that her E-reader would not allow her to do. She loves it; thinking about buying one for myself.

This is a very nice tablet. Nice size and it feels good when you hold it. It's also easy to pack if you are a person who likes to travel a lot.

I am enjoying using this tablet. I purchased it to use when I travel since it is so compact. I was disappointed that there was no cover available. Have one on order for almost a month and none in the stores. I was able to download the manual but it's hard to read it and find the spot to do what it says. I hope to take a class to make better use of all the functions. It's easy to use and I can read the screen very well. I had planned to buy the 10 in but really like the 8 in.

I found the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 an excellent alternative to the iPad Mini. It is easy to setup, and very lightweight. I would highly recommend this product.

my daughter is 7 and wanted to buy a laptop. we opted for this tablet for size and to be able to have apps to play. this has been great for her not only because she can play on game apps but also learn with apps like the translator app. she is still learning how to do alot of things on it and so am i, but she will be able to grow into it as she gets older. i have enjoyed this so much that i am going to get the 10.1 note for myself to use in my business. i have told friends and coworkers about his tab because if you dont want to spend the money for a bigger tablet this is the one to get.

This product is easy to use and is in a very comfortable size, which makes it most useful for me. I look forward to using it in my travels as it is lightweight and easy to take along.

I bought this for a 10 year old and found it to be much more than I thought it was. This thing does everything! Games, apps, Netflix, Ebooks, and way more. It's impressive. The only part I didn't like was that I couldn't limit what was available on it. Too many "mature" apps and adds available for the child to see. Even hard to miss sometimes, but other than that, I want one now!

Purchased this tablet and so far I have no complaints. The size is a good compromise between the 10in and 7in. Nice weight and easy to travel with.

This tablet is wonderful - very good screen quality - long life battery, remote control ability for tv!

The tablet looks and works great. The size it's very nice, I think is the most convenient of them all. The only thing that bothered me is that it is not as fast and does not have many of the features that the S4. It should perform the same but in a bigger size screen but it doesn't. Other than that, it is responsive and even though it doesn't have all the features it has all the ones that would probably use the most anyways. Another thing is that I found really hard to get a nice case for it. I wanted the original on green or blue and for some reason they have those colors for all the other tabs and not for this one.

By far the best tablet in the market for the value. 8" screen is perfect for both viewing & portability. Unlike ridiculous ratio of I-pad, its screen is perfect for video viewing. This tablet even replaced my netbook with additional bluetooth keyboard. Built in polaris office is more than enough for document editing in classroom. I'm really happy with the purchase!

Very easy to use. I enjoy reading ebooks with this screen. The sound is great for audible books.

When my wife bought me this tablet for my birthday I didnt think I would use it all that much. Boy was I wrong. I primarily use it for reading books, gaming and internet searches. The tablet is pretty snappy. Dont experience any real lag. Really only play candy crush and similar games...no real high demand games. The IR blaster is a nice feature. Wish the battery would last a bit longer, but I do have the screen at almost max brightness when I use it and havent played with any of the battery saving features. Lasts me about 6 hours of medium to heavy usage before the battery dies and I need to plug it in. I wouldnt hesitate to buy it if you can get it for $250 or less. Overall a nice tablet for the everyday user with some cool features.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I bought it because it is a little larger so that he can see and handle it better than the Galaxy Tab 7. Also the speed is a faster and the screen quality is really good.

Overall I give it an excellent rating for speed, durability, size and for all the apps.
