The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 fit my budget and needs perfectly. I was looking to replace my nook reader with another nook reader and I knew in the near future I was going to need a laptop for occasional travels for work. After speaking with an electronic tech, I decided to go with the Tab 4. I chose the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, 7" to keep it scaled down and less bulky to travel with. I also purchased 2 cases; one for just the tablet that allowed me to 360º rotate it and keep it secured in a hands free angled position and another case that came with a bluetooth, detachable keyboard ($39) which will turn it into a mini laptop for my occasional on the road travels. The cases I found on the internet at another site. The Tablet came with a program that allows me to work with my MS Office; Excel and Word files for work. I've used it and it works great! Because I bought the 7" model I wouldn't want to use it frequently because it's scaled down and I miss a mouse but it does the job perfectly for my occasional needs. I can also get some fun brain games, do e-mail, it links up to my calendar, watch Netflix, listen to my music and much more. It's a neat cross between my PC and my smart phone.

I bought this to read and play apps. The battery is so so. Seems to me it goes down fast. The OS is also slow for one of the games I play. My phone performs much better, given the size difference, I would expect the tablet to be an upgrade, but it is not. For general tasks like reading, that require no processor, it is fine. Not even sure that warrants 3 stars, but there you go. Mildly disappointed with my first tablet.

We bought this tablet for our 6 year old and it is very user friendly. He uses it everyday to play games and watches movies.

This small tablet is just what I was looking for. It's small, so very portable, and has everything I need to stay connected.

This is a perfect tablet for my daughter. Allows her to do everything she needs.

I just got back from Europe and thorougly enjoyed this tablet. It was easy to cary with us. We used it for GPS, camera, internet, Facebook. It was fully functional and easy to use.

I LIKE THE PRODUCT EVEN THOUGH I AM STILL LEARNING TO USE IT. I HAVE TROUBLE TYPING AS I ALWAYS HIT THE WRONG KEYS. ONE DAY I WROTE "GLAUCOMA" AND IT CAME OUT "BLACKMAIL"!! HOW COULD THAT HAPPEN? I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO CORRECT IT AS I HAD WRITTEN OTHER WORDS AFTERWARDS. SO BE IT. THE DESK WORKERS AT SAMSUNG ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THAT IS A SELLING POINT.

This tablet was perfect. I bought two of them - one for each of my kids. I bought a study case and it's perfect for them.

Our family has 3 of these tablets. We have had no issues with them. We love the price. They work well for simple tasks like web browsing, YouTube, Netflix, playing simple games, etc. They probably aren't the best choice for high end gaming, but they work for us as described.

We have found that our Galaxy Tab 4 has plenty of room for all the activities that we want, even when sharing it. The WiFi is a cinch to set up, and battery life has been good. If you are used to surfing on a smart phone you will really enjoy the screen size too.

I really enjoyed the new camera this year. A little difficult to work, but does shoot great pictures. I love the multi shot function .

I bought this to use for Netflix and eBooks from Kindle, Nook, and the library. It does all that very well, has good battery life, and is fun to use. Get some kind of case, though. It is hard to hold without one.

My son is able to use his new tablet, and easily navigate through the systems. He loves it!

Bought 2 of these, a black and white one, at Best Buy for my boys to use. Great use for them for school work and gaming!

I really like that this tablet is small enough to carry with me in my purse but big enough to watch video and movies on.
