Love the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Tablet!

Bought this one for visually impaired husband because he can enlarge print to read it. Great for our Bible reading every day and for e-books from the library. He can make print really large so he can read it.

Basic tablet

This tablet is a definite step down in both build quality and function. The screen resolution is nice enough, but it lags sometimes when flipping screens or running some graphic-heavy apps. The tablet comes pre-loaded with so much proprietary Samsung software (that can't be removed by the user) that it chews up over half of the tablet's already meager 8 GB storage space. Initially, I wasn't too concerned about it as the tablet supports microSD cards. However, the memory management is so poor, it's impossible to move any app you want (and their associated data) to the card. It seems as if the engineers at Samsung may have designed the removable storage for music or video files, but not as an actual extension of the internal storage space. Overall, it's a serviceable tablet for the money as long as your expectations for user-configurability are kept low.
