Beyond Expectations

I can get books from numerous places and am not tied in to B&N only. It has a Kindle App and has the ability to access my FB account, emails an almost anything I wanted to do. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I guess it's ok for kids
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since this is only 8GB, there really isn't much space to do much with this especially for an active 5 year old that likes to take pictures and videos of herself. I purchased a 32GB micro SD card but not all apps will store to the card so the apps she wanted to use I couldn't download because there was not enough space. Also, I assumed this was similar to the iPad for when you purchase movies from Google Play that it would get loaded to the device, but that did not happen. You have to log into Google Play every time to do anything, watch movies or read books. So this is inconvenient since this is a wifi only device so there is no way to watch videos or read books when we're in a place with no internet. Unless there is a way to do this and I just haven't figured it out yet, I will have to get an iPad instead for this is a deal breaker for me. Also, since this doesn't have a very fast processor in it, some apps run slow.

Nice tablet for the price.

She primarily uses it for emails, social media and reading as well as the occasional app. It was easy to set up an get started. If you get the 8G I recommend getting an SD card if you have a lot of books or music.
