I have six kids I bought 2 of themSamsung Tab 2 two years ago and they were great tablets, 3 other kids got Kindle Fire...weren't happy with the kindles and the youngest got a Nabi 2 and I wasn't happy with it either...So this Christmas I bought all 5 of the older kids the Samsung Tab 4 7.0 and they love them and I Iove them. The youngest got a Samsung Tab 3 for kids. Love it too.

This is compact enough my husband takes it everywhere with him. He loves it.

Since this is only 8GB, there really isn't much space to do much with this especially for an active 5 year old that likes to take pictures and videos of herself. I purchased a 32GB micro SD card but not all apps will store to the card so the apps she wanted to use I couldn't download because there was not enough space. Also, I assumed this was similar to the iPad for when you purchase movies from Google Play that it would get loaded to the device, but that did not happen. You have to log into Google Play every time to do anything, watch movies or read books. So this is inconvenient since this is a wifi only device so there is no way to watch videos or read books when we're in a place with no internet. Unless there is a way to do this and I just haven't figured it out yet, I will have to get an iPad instead for this is a deal breaker for me. Also, since this doesn't have a very fast processor in it, some apps run slow.

I love this tablet. I have an android phone and I love the fact that everything is compatible. I love the size as I am able to carry it everywhere with me. Fits in my purse nicely without weighing it down. It is quick and I love all of my apps on it.

This are really amazing tabs for the price. They work well and hold up.

I'm sure it's great for some people, I bought it to be a backup for my iPad while using my DJI phantom 3 drone- it doesn't even compare to an iPad. I installed some other apps on it, and they ran alright. The camera isn't that great, but it works. I'd say that this is a pretty good tablet for kids or as a backup for power users

I t beats my Nexus 7 lollipop by 4x speed. Plus I love the plug in memory chip expander.

Can't beat this little guy for the price all around what you would expect from Samsung.
