Bought this over the Kindle to get a purer Android experience and I haven't been disappointed. Great performance and battery life. Only weird thing is that the back and app buttons do not light up in the dark but that could be seen as a positive.

This tablet is amazing and super fast! Has a large screen which is great for those who are older and have problems with their eye vision. Very sleek and super light weight! A must for any techie!!!! A++++

I bought this as a gift to the wife for Christmas. She has a Galaxy phone and wanted something to play around with while watching tv that was bigger than her phone, but still offered the same apps. This tablet was at the price point where it was affordable with a large screen and a decent processor so I went for it. She loves it, I love it, and it does everything she wants it to do without a lot of headache or frustration. Her apps synched between phone and tablet pretty much seamlessly and she has a bigger screen like she wanted. The only flaws are more of personal preferences than flaws. The home and tab buttons on the bottom of the tablet are sensitive and just rotating the tablet. The power/sleep button is also wonky where pushing it will sometimes double tap and sometimes not register at all. Very minor inconveniences for the price and the functionality of it.

I bought this for my 65 yr old father who has little experience with computers or tablets. He likes the ease of use, speed, and size making it easy to type and read. It sure makes my old iPad 2 look ancient.

Love the screen size and it's fast also have had Galaxy Tablet before this one is better

My tablet is perfect as I can sync it with my Samsung phone. It was very easy to learn and operate. It is the perfect size to take everyplace as it fits in my purse plus it's a great size for reading e- books. This tablet was a replacement for an older Ipad which was slower and did not sync with my phone.

We bought this tablet to replace an antiquated Nexus 7, so making performance comparisons are mostly moot. Overall, the tablet is speedy and looks beautiful. My wife loves the fact that the control buttons are no longer part of the screen itself, but physically separate. It did come with more Samsung software which we didn't need, but I could see it being useful to families with children. The one we really wanted to work, the samsung transfer app, wouldn't work with the nexus 7 and the wife's saved game data didn't ever transfer. She's not too irritated, but somewhat bummed. I'm sure I'll see her face in another 6 months or so when she catches back up to where she was on her Gummy Drop and Candy Crush. Maybe. I wish the unit came with more memory, or that android had an easier way to default everything to the SD card we installed. No solutions we found on the internet seemed to work as advertised.

I reviewed both the 8" and 10" Tablet and felt that the 10" Tablet was a better size. I liked the higher resolution screen for showing photo's and watching videos. Set up was fast and simple in less than a half hour. Having used a Samsung Smart Phone I found that the quality was the same, as excellent.

Operates as stated. Fast. Great package from the tablet to the case. Just a really nice unit does everything you could possibly ask a tablet to do. Resolution is fantastic which is very important to me. A cheaper tablet would not do with lower resolution in a slower speed at this time. Very satisfied.

Bought this for my wife. Sje likes it alot. Faster speed long battery life. Likes the big screen. Much better than the other one she had. Thinking of getting myself one for myself.

This is a very nice tablet for the money. I had the previous version of this tab. This one is faster, and has a very clear, sharp screen. Camera takes great pics too. I highly recommend.

I love my new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1. It is fast and light . The color of the screen is very vibrant . Was easy to learn how to use . I would recommend this tablet to anyone. Well wirth the price.

I bought this tablet for my wife to replace her Tab Pro 8.4. She was pleased with her Tab Pro and she loves the new Galaxy Tab A 12.1. It has great cameras, resolution, speed, and battery life.

This is my first tablet. Picked it up on Black Friday, and so far I'm enjoying it. Charged it up, put on anti-virus software, and away I went. My only problem is easily finding accessories for it - screen protector, case, etc. I've had to get those things on Amazon - not in the stores like Ipad.

This was purchased to replace an older Nook Reader, that was top of the line a few years ago. The biggest improvement is the screen brightness and clarity. The speed of the machine is also several times faster than the older model. This was for a friend, but I may purchase one for my wife also.

I purchased this tablet as a Christmas present for my mom. It was part of the Christmas door buster sales that Best Buy had following Black Friday. The device was on sale for $169.99. It was a great price and a needed upgrade from stock/standard tablet Verizon gave my mom 2 years ago.
