The battery charges very slow. And drains real fast.

Tablet shuts off right in the middle of something.

The amount of internal memory is pathetic. 16GB of System memory was pathetic. The Operating System should be upgradeable. You shouldn't have to purchase a new piece of hardware in order to take advantage of the Android operating systems available.

Screen flashes. Not happy with this Galaxy Tab. :(

purchased this tablet less than a week ago, brand new, online. Already having problems. Started shutting off for no apparent reason at random times. One time screen locked up. Had to Google a solution for that. Taking it back to store today.

Tablet kept crashing need to have both replaced. They were working good till the new update now the keyboard stopped working and had to load a google keyboard. i would not recommend purchasing the tablet unless you have access to technical support.

Very slow, compared even to my old iPad. From the onset it would get stuck loading, painfully slowing down anything I tried to do. I returned it after a week and bought a new iPad instead, which I'm so much happier with.

Bought this tablet 2 weeks ago and was hesitant to buy but i am glad i took the plunge as it was on sale when i bought it and 2 days it went on another sale and i got the difference with no hassle!! Now my first impressions when i took it out of the package was its very solid feeling and looked great and when i booted it up and logged in i was very surprised it did a immediate update to android 7.0 and it did it very fast :) . The screen is phenomenal with the 1920x1200 pixels and the colors are so clear pleasant and robust the touch screen is very responsive and has no lag or weird miss touch kinda feel or repeated taps to get something to launch .. The battery is amazing i have never owned any tablet that has the battery life this has and it lasts 3 days on normal usage and the charging wasnt too long it took about 3 hours shut off that is but if you keep using it while charging may take 4 to 5 hours FYI.. I bought a brand new micro sd card cause mine was very old and this took a Sandisk 32gb micro sd card with no issues and transfer files is very fast but FYI shut off the tablet to install card.. The software in this tablet was not overly bloated and i think this comes with 6 months of webroot antivirus but i had my own for devices so it was not needed . The speakers are not too bad and i figured they would suck but im happy with it now the button placement and the charge port and headphone jack are good and i was really surprised to see it had a flash on this for taking photos or using it as a flashlight :) I am very happy with this so far and now i will find out how good it is for longevity !! I DO RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE

Had it15 days completely stopped working took it in to see if I can get a switch out because it was only 15 days they told me no 14 days limit lmao. and I had to use the insurance I paid for. So now i have a fixed new tablet yeah 4me

I purchased this tablet for my son. He never took it out of the house. He kept it charged. He kept it in a protective case. I mistakenly did not purchase geek squad protection and 1 year and 1 month the screen went black and would not turn on. I took it to best buy and they tried to get it to power on without success. Since I didnt buy the geek squad protection, there was nothing they could do. For the amount I paid for this tablet, you would think it would have lasted longer than a year! I should have spent more money and got an ipad. My ipad is 5 years old and still working great.

Purchase this a few months ago. Touch screen works unpredictably. Email has quit synching. Typing best for teeny weeny fingers. Barely adequate.

Please don't any Samsung Tab A 10.1-16GB, I was the biggest fan of Samsung products but, I had two worst experiences with Samsung Tab, it works very well for the first 1year, after that the problem starts to come either display issue or reboot issue. I was QLED 75-inch tv now I scare to buy that. coming to the decision that Please don't waste money spending money on Samsung product ..

I got this to replace my old S2, screen jittered( sporadically) for a lack of better words. Returned it and didnt want to shell out the extra $$ for the S3 so ended up getting another S2 model. So far so good.....

I seldom review so soon (purchased yesterday). I am going to start off with the bad, the factory default is 30 seconds of no movement detected. It made going through setup a very miserable experience. I don't think it is Samsung who did this to me, it was some bureaucrat moron who forced these ridiculous power saving time-outs to be made as factory default. Once I had turned the tablet on for the 30th time, I had finally jumped through enough hoops to finally have access to the power settings. I went to the Max: 30 minutes (no option for NEVER). And then found another annoyance, the screen would dim (you guessed it) in 30 seconds. I turned off "Auto Adjust Lighting" and it magically went away. Now for the good stuff. This tablet will live for only one purpose, to sync my elliptical workouts with "Live Workout" with Ifit. The screen resolution was fantastic. The Wifi card inside the tablet is excellent (the Lenovo tablet, hated my duel band 2.4/5 G network). Hence, the little boy next door is now it's proud owner. This tablet does not have GPS, but since it is mounted on a stationary object, who cares. I like the buttons on the bottom, big improvement ... touch screen is very responsive as well. This tablet is fast. I thought it was normal for the "Live Workout" to lag the workout on the elliptical display ... guess what, not any more. The time to fully charge the tablet was around 5 hours and I was able to turn it on, while charging it. OK, time will tell.

Initially happy with the tablet...had to return due to device resetting itself multiple times. Big disappointment from Samsung..

I wouldn't recommend this tablet the screen went back after 3 months if use and best buy wouldn't take it for a return because it was a couple days past the 90 day warranty, fortunately I was able to get a hold of Samsung and they are currently repairing it for free

This tablet was not at all what I expected because the last Samsung tablet we had was much better than the one I purchased. This tablet was very poor with connectivity and keeping info from saved places.

Thank goodness for geek squad. Shortly after warranty expiration, battery expired. Wasted time and aggravation on Samsung phone support. Gone back to Apple. Now my data is on a dead android tablet.

Bough this tablet for my son to enjoy watching youtube vids, some educational games and activities. From the time i've had this tablet, twice have I had to bring it in for replacement because of the screen going in and out. And it also started to have a dark shade on 1 half of the screen. I've always had a good experience with Samsung products. But I've always bought their top of the line products until i bought this Galaxy Tab A 10.1.

Bought 2 galaxy tabs. Worked well for 1 year but then started having problems. Screen would black out. Slow not reliable. Very disappointing.
