Junk this is awful best buy would not take back ihave never had a worse device

Not very user friendly so I returned item. I'm a Apple user and should have stuck to Apple.

This tablet is really annoying don’t waste your money on it

To be honest for the money spent you just can't touch anything in this price range that will compare. As a person that is getting older the eyes aren't what they use to be. The 10.1 inch HD display is a welcome asset. I purchased a 128 GB Samsung EVO SD card at time of purchase for extra storage and the cards speed. After the initial boot and setup I used my laptop and the adb bridge to enable adoptable storage, something Samsung disabled. I now have 120 GB of working internal storage. The device comes with a minimal but good selection of software installed including Microsoft Office. After updating the system a little time and a visit or two to the PlayStore and you can customize the device to your taste. To those giving bad reviews here is a little advice. If you are having hardware or other issues with your product take it back to Best Buy. They will be more than happy to help you out. Remember there are always a few marginal pieces that will slip through any manufacturering process.

Wanted a device I can used when I don't want to sit at my desktop, that was within my budget and one that can use apps from another brand, this is great. The size is great, is easy to carry/travel as it can fit into a tote, backpack etc. due to it is flat. Screen is big enough to work with, battery life is great, easy to charge. Wi-fi capability when travelling away from home. It is good product and would recommend it.

I bought this tablet for school and both tablets were defective

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab A as replacement for my aging Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. I loved my old Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, but it was finally dieing and I had to put it to rest. Unfortunately I made a bad decision buying this Tablet. Here are the Pros and Cons. Pros: 1. Good Screen Image 2. Long Battery Life and Fast Recharge 3. Fast Processor 4. Easy to Use Cons: 1. Slippery Case (Hard to Hold) > (Dropped it One Time Within a Week) 2. Bad Control Button Plasement (Vertical Design) > (Plasement Should be for Landscape Use) 3. Speakers Placement (Speakers Vertical Use) > (Placement Should be for Landscape Use) 4. Sound Quality Could be Improved > (More Base) 5. Navigation Buttons Don't Light Up (Inconvenient for Low Light Use) 6. Tablet Gets Very HOT > (Charging wile Using Extremely HOT) > (Palms Get Red from Using) 7. Bloatware Takes Up Large Amount of 16gb Storage > (Wish That Tablet Manufacturers Would offer a Way of Uninstalling Unused Apps) 8. Can't Move Apps to SD Card to Free Up Internal Storage. 9. Only 2gbs Memory (Sometimes I had to Clean Memory When I Was Using It) > (Gets Unstable Using 2gbs Memory Should Have 3gbs)

Great electronic cook book and sport screen for husband.

This is a great tablet, except for a couple flaws, and annoyances. This tablet has great picture resolution, and the weight & size is great. It plays any game & app running Android ^ Marshmallow. I have 3 main complaints.. There is no GPS, excluding all my astronomy apps and anything requiring gps location. I had to set timezone manually, even then, it did not have it correct. Second is the speakers being on one side.. The bottom in portrait mode, end the right side in the intended landscape mode. It results constantly muffeling the speakers. Third complaint, thats having the task viewer, hoe, and back button also on the right side in landscape. I intend to hit back or task view constantly. One of those complaints are fixable, the other two are not. All in all, I enjoy this tablet a lot. It plays all my purchased games, netflix, and xfinity are good on it. Its a great tablet for the price, and id stil recommend it.. With the logitech multidevice keyboard... Pricey together, but worth it.

This is a great tablet for the price. Very fast with a beautiful screen. It also very nice to be able to expand the memory. This is a great tablet and very user friendly. I am very happy with my purchased.

This is the 4th tablet I've owned so I'm familiar with Androids and ipads and this tablet is excellent all the way around. The battery life, speed and graphics are great. Sure I could geek out and wish it had Marshmallow 6.1 or more storage space but that cost more money than I wanted to spend and I'm confident this will serve my needs for a long time. Getting it on sale made the deal even better.. Highly recommended

Overall, I love this product. I have been getting off brand tablets for years and have been satisfied. After a recent tablet failed to live up to expectations, we decided to go big as a birthday present. My one complaint is that over half of the 16GB memory is the OS. This was a problem I did not have with other products. The screen is nice and resolution is wonderful. It is fast and connects to all of our devices.

This is a great tablet I absolutely love everything about it the music sounds so wonderful, the tablet is very fast, the picture quality is beautiful, but be really careful because this tablet is all glass and it's heavy, I can't find a screen protector for it but you can protect it with a case.

My brother his wife and my mother give me this Galaxy Tab A for Christmas, and after a few hours of using it I put my Nook Color into retirement after 7 years of faithful service, and will never use it again. The first thing I noticed is how vivid the screen colors were as compared the the Nook Color, the second thing I noticed was was when I used the Nook app the on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A the time it took to load books was quicker. If you have books with the words in color the color of the print shows up which it did not do on the Nook Color. A peace of advice here if you are using the Nook App on you Samsung Galaxy Tab A only the book, newspaper, and magazines will work all other apps that are on the Nook Color will not. The touch screen is easy to use and if you are not careful you can accidentally close the app you are using. The Google feature is very handy to use,along with the apps that come with this tablet. When using the video chat on Facebook messenger the video resolution is alot more defined. This is also true when i have used periscope.
