this is a nice tablet with good display and fast performance. even sound quality is perfect but we prefer to use headsets when watching movies. its great to carry when travelling. can also be used for gaming.

Display is bright and crisp. Battery life is amazing. Android Marshmallow right out of the box. Fast and responsive to the touch.

I got the open box unit, looked unopened to me. I also got the pen version, could be useful later on. The real reason for purchase was as a navigation unit. It comes with google maps of course but I installed gaia maps and maps.me, both seem to work very well for the short time I have had it. The only odd thing with this is the charge port comes out the top. And a side note, this is to heavy for the magnet type mounts, yes even the extra magnetic mounts.

My husband loves the new tablet. Fast for playing games, videos and surfing the net.

Both me and my mother owned this Samsung tablet I love them I think these a way better than iPads that's just my opinion the responsiveness is unsurpassed by any other tablet it's a high quality excellent tablet for the money and it's worth every penny and these things last I love this tablet and I wouldn't buy any other even an iPad

My impressions of this tablet are as follows: Speed - not very good, my four year old Asus is faster...much faster WiFi Connection - the tablet dropped the connection continuously...urrgghh Style - The shape is a bit odd, very wide...short on the vertical - weird Build - Surprising heavy for size, well-built Screen - Nice enough - a bit fuzzy at times Operational Buttons - hard to see in darkened room - not lit Sound - weird placement, not so great, but what tablet really is? This unit is going back to Best Buy today. For $300.00, frankly, I expected to be somewhat pleased with performance, but this thing is sluggish and the dropping of the WiFi is a great distraction and a major pain if you are even a slightly impatient person. Not a single piece of my technology drops my high speed network signal - just this tablet. Anything good worth reporting? Not really. I think it's back to shopping for a new tablet. I wish that my Asus was not starting to get a bit whacky...that unit has been dependable for years. Perhaps it is time to bite the bullet and go with an iPad Air2 or even an iPad Pro. I am just tired of trying to locate a really decent tablet without breaking the piggy bank!

Purchased for my husband for Christmas. This is a great tablet! It has very quick response time. And apparently has a magnetic back as it sticks to my husbands metal stand holder. Which is a great feature as he will not knock it off the stand and damage it.

The display is great. I own several tablets and for the money, this one beats any Apple tablets. I purchased it when it was on sale for $199.00 There isn't anything flashy about it but for every day use, it is a solid product and gets the job done fast.

This tablet was purchased as a gift for my child. She was very excited to receive it and it world well for her needs. She mostly watch videos and movies.

Especially like the back light for better viewing.

I purchased this tablet on 12/31/2016 using $ I had received as Christmas gifts. The Tablet worked great until 1/15/2017. It started shutting down own its own randomly before it finally locked up and froze with no way to re-start. I took it back to Bestbuy...who of course has a 14 day return policy. Nice way to support your customers. I spent over $1,000 dollars with Bestbuy this past Christmas, but I won't spend a dime more...EVER. Obviously they told me I was out of luck and must deal directly with Samsung. I have sent the tablet back to Samsung 3 times now and they have yet to fix the problem and refuse to replace the tablet. I have owned the tablet 52 days now and it has spent at least 35 of those days at the manufacturer or in transit to/from the manufacturer. Someone, either Bestbuy or Samsung needs to step up and do the right thing here. This is beyond ridiculous.

I bought this Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" screen over a week ago. I had it only a day and a half. It randomly & unpredictably shut off on me 12 different times. I returned it to Best Buy to exchange it for a new one. All the Best Buy stores in my area were out of stock. So they ordered me one and I paid for it in the store and had it shipped to my house. No big deal. Well, the second one acted up doing the same thing. It kept randomly shutting off!! I checked all the basics; made sure the latest software update was installed, checked for malware, cleared the cache, etc. The final straw was yesterday (Sunday) I went to use it and it shut off 6 times in succession after turning it on. Then it "froze up" several times. I had to do a hard reset (holding down the power button and the volume down buttons at the same time for 7 seconds) to restart the tablet. Finally after restarting I got a message on the screen "unable to restart factory reset required." I finally said I'm done. I took it back to Best Buy today (Monday 3/27/2017.) I had the 1st tablet one day and a half. It shut off randomly 12 times. The 2nd tablet I had for 4 days and it shut off randomly over 25 times and "froze up" up 6 times, requiring a hard reset. My advice: BUYER BEWARE!!! I have usually had good luck with Samsung products in the past but this thing is GARBAGE!!
