Nice replacement for my old dead tab. Nice size and weight for everyday use, both work and home

So far excellent! Don't go cheap and get the Insignia, I returned Insignia and got the Samsung. Insignia is junk get the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The screen resolution and speed are great on this. As a professional photographer those were my main two concerns and Samsung has done an excellent job.

Our older Samsung 12.1 tablet had suffered an accidental drop and the glass screen shattered. While still usable for a while, we decided that a new one, for travel, was needed. The Samsung 10.1 had been on sale for a while, but not available in our local Best Buy. They finally became in stock and we purchased one. The size is perfect and is a great for our traveling needs. The price was most outstanding and it works just as good as our old Samsung tablet.

Good tablet. I bought this to replace a several years old model. The key/button placement on this one is in a very weird spot and I wish it was better set up for landscape viewing. Not everything is based as a portrait. But overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

The tablet is great. The graphics are crisp. The speed and response is excellent! I appreciate the quick download. Storage space and expandability is also a real plus for the price. In store support at Best Buy was unbeatable. Jake was super. Only drawback I can think of is the limitation of no livestreaming. I was just not aware at time of purchase. I could use WiFi to accommodate, but unfortunately I have straight talk, which will not accomodate. Mobile hot spot will likely be the answer. A data enabled device or cell enabled device would have been ideal, although more expensive. Overall, this will do nicely.

I love my tablet. It's light and compact. I can put it in my purse and take it everywhere with me.

First bought the smaller tab a and returned for 10.1 good decision for 30 dollars more screen is clear and does everything I need also like you can add more memory.

I bought this for my wife as a way to read her news in the morning, and for general consumption. A nice easy interface, and a great alternative to PCs. More apps available in the store.

Bought 2 of these, one for each mom. Thought they would like playing games on something a little bigger than their smart phones but also have access to e-mail and face book. It's a hit!

I'm now getting subscription magazine issues in PDF format. This tablet is perfect for reading them. Amazon has Kindle versions of books I'm interested in for less than $10. The Kindle app on my tablet makes them available to me. I can also keep reference Word documents (like song chord sheets) available for instant access anywhere. The 10.1" size is ideal for these uses. Just be sure to get an extra micro SD card to have enough memory.

After comparing all the tablets in this price point and also seeking functionality, there was no other option. This is a brilliant tablet for anyone. I will go ahead and tell you not to buy the Samsung case. It's cheaply made and very overpriced. Additionally, Best Buy doesn't carry it anyway. Go online and buy Pro Case from Amazon. Quality leather, much cheaper than Samsung and offers series protection for your tablet while remaining thin and functional.
