I guess it CAN happen....And it DID! This tablet completely crashed after about two weeks. We took it back to Best Buy. The Geek Squad witnessed the crash. Advised we send it back to Samsung for replacement. We did last week. Waiting for the replacement.

The tablet works fine but sonetimes there is an issue with wifi. Dont know is if happens in all tabs or this one has an issue

I got this tablet as an early birthday present, and I've been waiting to post a review until I had a chance to really test it out and see what this thing could do. First, the negatives (because even the greatest piece of tech isn't perfect): 1. the charging cable is woefully short. But most people should have an extra USB cable, or five, lying around to help remedy this. 2. The fact that Samsung removed the best feature that started with Android Marshmallow: the ability to make an SD card into internal storage. This may not sound like a big deal, but when the device storage is only 16GB and you're left with about half of that and not all applications can be moved to the SD card, this can pose a problem. It hasn't for me yet, but still. And now for the flip side of the coin: the pros! 1. This tablet is crazy fast. You may worry because this model is almost two years old, but it holds up exceedingly well. I would definitely recommend the P580 model over the T580 because of the extra RAM. It definitely helps keep everything running smooth. 2. The display is beautiful, even though it isn't as great as some of the higher dollar tablets. I've read from others that the display washes out and is next to impossible to see if you're out in the sun. But for my purposes (writing, reading, and watching videos indoors), that is a moot point. 3. If you buy a case with a detachable keyboard, this thing is practically a mini laptop, and the included Microsoft Office programs really helps to set it apart (in my opinion). 4. The pen. I never would've thought I would use the S pen, but it really helps set this tablet apart. I use it to make notes and highlight important passages in ebooks I'm reading, etcetera. So in closing, my only real complaints about this tablet are the super short charging cable and Samsung removing the option to make the SD card internal storage.

Everything is fine but i am not satisfied with the pen because it is too small for grief.

Not enough memory. You will need a memory card for it. Battery life is short.

just pony up and spend the extra money on something you'll use every day

I like Tab S3 better than this. iPad is also less expensive so would prefer.

Given the specs of the product, the speeds were alot slower than usual. Most apps I had installed ran slower than the cell phone versions as well.

Love the tablet but shipment did not include S pen as advertised.

this is the best tablet I have ever used. this tablet with s-pen, I bought it for $249. The specs and for that price I cannot complain more. Using the S-pen is easy and comfortable and I paired it with a bluetooth keyboard and it almost works as a mini laptop. The tablet works like a fluid due to octacore processor and 3GB ram. The best part of the tablet is battery life, 4hours of heavy usage everyday it lasts about more than 4 days.

I have been loyal to Samsung but I have to question that now. Support is useless. Bought this less than 3 years ago and suddenly now it is stuck on the unlock screen (there is a screen showing a lock unlocking after the correct password is entered). Rebooting, draining the battery, trying safe mode... none of these worked. The item isn't detected by FindMyPhone. No damage to the device. Just suddenly won't work. The stylus cracked early on but I'm not even mad about that. Very expensive purchase for lack of life.

We have purchased many Samsung products and this one was a disappointment. I bought as a Christmas gift for my wife and she used it for a few days and it has started making a horrible noise, so now I have to return it and will likely have to exchange for a new tablet, which means all of info will have to be transferred to another tablet and this one will have to be reset to factory defaults all over again. This is the third Samsung tablet we have purchased and the first one to have any trouble.

Problem is it's wifi only no data thus if you leave a wifi area no reception. If your cell service is unlimited data you can tether it to your phone but you'll still have to carry both to get reception.

This tablet started out very good, but after a few days, the screen started flickering. Also, after the last update, it stopped working correctly. Some apps can't even open an epub publication. Will be taking it to the Geek Squad to get checked, but for now, it only gets 1 star. Very dissapointed.

Got this to use for drawing, but had a couple of "dead spots" and couldn't write all over the screen without it glitching out or not showing up. Had high expectations because I like my Note phones. Wouldn't recommend for drawing.

I'm sick of tablets never lasting no matter how good u take care of them. This is the 3rd tablet to crap out. Plug in and it flickers and system is lost. Bought it in 2017. I haven't turned it on in a few months and needed it for a project. Now its a garbage paper weight like my last note tablet. I spent $300 on this crap. The last one was $800. Nothing lasts.

I have never had problems before with this company so I purchased this for my 9 year old son as a Christmas gift. We have had to take it to the Geek Squad at least 3 times in the 1st year for the screen going black.

I bought it in may 2017, 5 month later I traveled abroad and it was broke, I had to pay to repaired because I bought it in usa and dont have warranty out. And as soon it was repair it broke again. I dont buy this tablet again.
