I bought this for my son for Christmas, and it's a pretty good tablet. My son is 10 and he mainly uses it for games. It has adequate storage to keep a good handful of games on it, and all of them play great. Being young, he definitely puts it through the paces, and it stands up pretty well. Overall, we're pretty much a Samsung family, and this does not disappoint.

Was on sale for basically half price. Wanted something a little bigger than my phone for reading, and occasionally streaming. A little bit slow for my liking but not bad but all means. I looked a little closer and realized it was a 2 year old technology

I bought this for my wife. She had a tablet that stopped working for her. She uses it to primarily read digital books. She loves the processing speed, long battery life, and storage capacity. She can download books from several websites and our local library. For less that a hundred bucks, definitely worth the purchase.

Table was for my kid, that’s all I planned on buying it for since it was so cheep. It does the job.

I purchased this Samsung tablet to replace an iPad mini for my nephew. A small screen size makes it easier to handle. It comes with minimal bloatware and I was able to install all the app I needed. Great value for a tablet if all you need is something to browse the web and watch YouTube videos.

Looks and feels very solid and high-end, with its glossy black finish and thin bezels. Good and long battery life, too! Minus one star for the "close all apps" and "back" buttons not lighting up.

its faster then most 8gb,but 1.5 ram helps it. 8gbs of space is close to worthless. black Friday 8inch 16gb sold out. so was forced to get this or nothing. after a tab2 8core its slow to me. its in use when the tab2 is charging. or when I don't want to carry a 10inch. and it runs anki overdrive

Got it for my son. Perfect size, pretty good on battery life.

Strangely, I became a fan of ebooks, and I'm not even really one to read books. After struggling to read them on my phone, I decided a tablet was a good investment. Having the Tab A has been awesome. I can see the 'pages' clearer, with less strain. Not a lot of memory, but worth the price if all you really need is a reader.

This was purchased as a gift for my father. He does not have a smart phone, so this was the next best thing to keep him up with the times when his grandkids are sitting around playing on their phones. It's taking him awhile to get used to, but it's a nice size and has all the options he needs.

This is a very simple tablet to use. If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone is just like it but you do not have the capability to make phone calls from it. The operating system is Lollipop 5.1.1 there are other operating systems but they're not in this size. I like it and it's very handy.

THE ONE I PURCHASED JANUARY 5 HAD SOME PROBLEMS I COULD NOT OVERCOME. RETURNED IT TO THE STORE AND RECEIVED ANOTHER ONE THAT I JUST RECEIVED TODAY. I HAVE CONNECTED THE CHARGER TO IT AND EXPECT TO VISIT THE STORE TOMORROW IN HOPES THEY WILL HAVE THE TIME TO SET IT UP FOR ME. I AM SURE I WILL BE PLEASED WITH IT WHEN IT IS PROPERLY SET UP .AND WORKING PROPERLY

We now own 3 of these as price and performance are perfect!
