Maybe a bunch of first time tech owners, or upgrading from antiquated tech? Let me first start by saying I spent 28 years in IT, and have tried it all, independent of OS. This is a late 2018 product that I was hoping was faster than its older brother the Tab S4 (w/o DEX) - Nope. The boot time is 59 second no matter what you turn on or off. I have 1Gb fiber (Beehive) and a Netgear Nighthawk® X8 AC5000 Smart WiFi Router (slow is not a problem on my end). Once you launch a browser (regardless of brand), it is a full 15 seconds before any keystroke is recognized. Page refreshes, or transitions are 5-25 seconds. Touch screen entry is about 20% accurate. Checking my GoDaddy email is almost impossible, and when I do get in (beyond the page not recognized error), I don't ever get beyond the refuted login page. The graphics are great for what it is. The design is nothing less than the Samsung standard. Packaging is on par with Apple (I am far from a fanboy). I've given it 4 days, and it's all been frustrating. Now I have to make another trip into Bestbuy to return this very weak and halfhearted Samsung effort. As a guy who owns the Note 9, and a laundry list of Samsung products, I am deeply disappointed.

I loved the tablet but wouldn't stay connected to the internet.

This newer model of the Tab A (2018 version) is much improved over the prior Tab A I bought 2 years ago. In comparison it's noticeably lighter, the screen has better resolution and it's also faster. It has much improved sound with 4 speakers versus 2 speakers on the older model. It also charges much faster and uses the newer USB-C specification. If you're looking for a great tablet that won't break the bank you can't go wrong with this purchase.

This is my third Samsung tablet and they keep getting better. This version has the larger screen, excellent battery life and 32GB. The speakers are a major improvement and sound great! I would recommend this tablet to anyone wanting an excellent product by Samsung.
