It replaces a 5 year old E-reader that does not hold a charge for longer than an hour. The Tab A has be at download speeds and great watching Hulu, or Netflix on. As an e-readee other being on heavy side works great. Reading e-mail is great. As an alternative to packing a laptop around will know better when i get the folio I had order fro. Amazon because the customer services at my local Best Buy is non-existent.
