Bought this to upgrade my wife's reader. She had an older NOOK. First bought the Amazon Fire only to find that most of her applications etc. could not transfer! So we returned it and went for the Galaxy which worked smoothly in the transfer and setup process. She is very happy and loves the Galaxy Tab A. She is on it daily and the battery life is great!

I am very happy with this purchase! Although I must admit I was disappointed to find out that it was not compatible with a stylus, it has been incredibly useful for me and I have even managed to write on it using my fingers :) It is a fast, efficient and solid device. To be sure, I have only been using for about a month. But, in that time, I am more than happy.

There are a few things I've missed (like a magnetic sensor to turn on the screen when the case is opened, or a light sensor to adjust the display brightness to ambient conditions.) But those are minor and given the price, I really can't complain. The tablet seems has lots of functionality and performance is great. For this price, I don't think one could do better.

Bought this for my dad for Xmas because I got it on sale for $119.99. I only buy the Galaxy S series phones so I know what top level Samsung is but for the price these tablets aren't bad and well worth it. Wish the screen was 1440p because of size and I wish it had 64gb HD and atleast 4gb RAM. Runs smooth and picture quality is ok. Camera is OK but nothing spectacular. This 10" version has a better build quality about it then the 8" version that's just a little smaller. The 10" version is the way to go with this series.

I've used a PC computer for everyday tasks for a long long time. I am a senior and I decided to get a tablet for easy access and I am glad I did. Very happy with tablet so easy to navigate and love it. What I like the most it is portable, easy to navigate, quality is great and can take where ever and get comfortable, check emails, pay bills, and play games. Great tablet!

I'm really enjoying my new Samsung tablet nice big screen and easy to operate.
