Bought it for my wife she says that it is a lot faster than her old tablet and a lot brighter to she likes the size of the screen she has an apple but it is getting old thank she is liking the tablet better than the apple she would recommend the tablet it’s really nice

Needed a small but fast tablet to use for several gaming and reference apps that was fairly quick and had a decent amount of memory and storage. The Tab A filled the bill rather nicely. I'm a fan of Samsung products. In fact, I did this review using the Tab A

I love my new Samsung tablet. It is a bit larger with more memory. This expands the opportunity for more apps with a larger viewing space. Once it was set up it is so easy to use and I can hold it in one hand ! A great purchase!!!

Overall this tablet, for its price, has been a very nice tablet. Its lightweight, and battery life, are very nice features. The price was right in line with my budget. I enjoy using this tablet everyday.

Excellent small tablet! Much faster than I thought it would be and sooooo much better than the small screen on my phone, I’m actually doing a lot more with it than I thought I would. I’m a new Android user and I’m really liking this!

This tablet is very good and meets my needs and expectations with one caveat that keeps it from being 5 stars. I wish there was a way to find out before purchasing exactly what the limitations are in the software/hardware of a particular tablet. With android version 9, I (apparently erroneously) expected that I could load apps similar to what I have had on my Galaxy S10 phone. Not so fast. It turns out that a number of apps in the play store "May not be optimized for your device" and cannot be installed. I guessed I missed the note that a Samsung galaxy tablet (wifi only) is a much lesser device than a phone. it's a good tablet. I can do mostly what I wanted to do. I just wish there were a way to really know what all a tablet will / will not do beforehand.

The deal was better than Target! Got this as a gift. I personally have the 10" that's lasted me more than 4yrs so I hope this will last just as long, if not, longer! Fits perfectly in tote bag for errands, work, etc. Can't go wrong at all.

The tablet was purchased tonused primarily as a security system viewing tablet. The processor is fast and our cameras never time out. For anyone that doesn't plan on downloading a ton of apps and has simple needs, this is a fantastic budget friendly option.

It is not a toy... but kids love it... if you planing on traveling with kids! Purchase it! Most AA airlines planes don't have monitors.. they want customers to connect to wifi and play videos with their devices

Wow its almost a year! I love this item, nice clear screen, nice sound. The only thing I don't like too much is the camera. Pictures come out blurry and its not stable, fortunately I use my phone to take pictures.

Wanted to upgrade since the operating system (v. 5.0) was no longer being supported and it was a 7 inch Galaxy Tab A NOOK tablet (Barnes and Noble). I'm happy that I'm able to download more current apps and the o.s. (Pie 9.0) is much faster. It's still a little slow to start, but not enough to gripe seriously about. Setup was fairly easy -Samsung wants SO much information from you! Screen is clear with no dead pixels. I was able, with some effort to find a custom case so I can protect it and allow it to prop up on a table, but not at Best Buy. Size is just right as it fits in my purse and computer bag. I would recommend it if you want something small, watch movies on a larger screen than your cell phone, and you're not going to do too much typing. Samsung has a good reputation.

Great tablet. It is a good tablet for basic tasks such as surfing the web, listening to music, playing basic games, and streaming videos. The battery lasts long enough and the price was fair.

Was given the Galaxy 10.1 tablet as a gift and loved it! Enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the 8" Galaxy tab A. This tablet is quick, easy to use, and a great size to travel with. Have recommended it to friends who also enjoy them

best portable 8" tablet! love this device. very good to have when in bed and just relaxing and browsing the web. I wouldnt recommend for any 3d intensive games. But fast for browsing. Stutters rarely but overall a good tablet

I know samsung tablets are good especially money wise, but this one right here is beyond. I got this for my 5 year old son for Christmas, and when i say for 99$ awesome!!!!! It has the option to put for CHILDREN !!! Meaning restrict apps, youtube for minor of 13 etc. It even brings a free app called samsung kids that has books, games, learning apps etc!!!! You can create a gmail for your child and put your email linked to where you can authorize everything and restrict what you want, screen time and more..... i love it!!!!!!!!!!! I 100% recommend this tablet..!!!!!! The tablet itself is prefect as well..!!!!!!

I have two Fire tablets that I like very much; an 8" and 10" , however I like my Samsung Tab A the most. I love all the features and the fact that it is quite fast. Surfing the net is a breeze. The price was very reasonable as well.

Purchased tablet to use for learning the Android OS. It is simple to use and relatively fast to use. I have had 2 previous versions of the tablet and never had any issues with them.

We were looking for a less expensive alternative to the IPad that we had in the past. This tablet does much of the same and is good for someone who is using for simple look-ups. Small size is very nice too. So far very satisfied with it

It looks quite high-quality, metal frame, is lightweight and performs well in lightweight applications like YouTube and Facebook. Cons: it slows down very often and the screen looks very bad, the pixels are very noticeable.

I bought a few of these for my toddlers. I uploaded games and learning apps. I also added movies via the micro sd. So far it’s been working great, and I ain’t mad at that $99 price either!
