I put a 4 for ease of use because the screen doesn't always respond at first touch. Everything transferred from my old tablet correctly and works well. I'm enjoying the quickness of this tablet.

I like it very much, though I'm still getting used to it. Some of the functions are slightly different than my former Galaxy. Nice size nice weight. I use it mostly for reading but I also to use it on the internet. Wifi-only for me.

i love the form factor & it's plenty powerful for my needs. sharp images, clean interface & the right size for my broken hands. plus it's dropped to a great price

This tablet is the perfect size for me. It fits perfectly in my medium sized purse and is thin even with a cover on it. It has handled my needs from reading, surfing the net and light game play. I am very happy with it!

The Galaxy tabs in general are very high quality. Very clear picture, even for an 8 inch. This compares to an iPad mini, and was much less expensive. Android, so it allows a lot more options, and apps are much cheaper.

This has been needed during the covid lockdown, having a screen that is easily read for access to library books during a time when most libraries were not open. The screen is crisp and clear and the system operates quit smoothly.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. I have one and really like it. It's ease of use and fast speed makes playing games enjoyable also the streaming movies look excellent on the touch screen.

Got this for my cousin and she loves it, got a case for it so she can carry it with her, fast she says, videos play well, she likes it better than her phone. Battery is great too.

This tablet is perfect for my mama. She can get on Facebook and play her games. The color is good, good speed and easy to use. I believe if you're not doing anything other than that and surfing the web this will work fine.

Awesome tablet very light weight. My son loves his and it holds battery life for a long while I would recommend it to my friends and family. I will definitely buy two more for my niece and nephew soon

Love the silver/white. The images are fantastic, battery seems to last a good while. Was able to play games on it at the beach even with the sun shining bright. Happy I purchased it. Would recommend.

This is my 3rd Samsung tablet purchase,my 1st tab A I think had a better resolution screen. The latest version 8" gets the job done with no issues. Great for watching YouTube video's around the house. Would recommend for purchase and when this one decides to jump in the dish water I will buy another.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A is the perfect sized tablet for lounging in bed & reading a book, playing games, watching movies, checking email, etc. I love the option of adding a micro SD card to increase storage space.

Does the job for cheap price. I knew it could not screencast but the screen size works for me to watch videos. Overall all apps work and has long battery life so far.

I had the previous version of this same tablet which was 4 years old so I decided time for an upgrade. Unfortunately, I haven't decided if this model is an upgrade or not. It's narrower now (maybe 3/4 of an inch) than it was, and the "buttons" (home, back, recently used) are no longer on the frame of the tablet, but are built into the screen. This makes it a little difficult to get them to appear while using an app because it sometimes doesn't bring up the buttons but does affect the app itself. The set up is very similar to my Samsung phone, and the older tablet, so that makes it easier than having to learn a whole new display/system. I'll keep it, and use it as much as the old one, because it's easier than shopping for something else.

I love this tablet! I replaced an older 7" tablet with the 8" Galaxy Tab A. It's great for watching videos or reading. It's fast for surfing the web. I bought it on sale at a great price.

Good size, good price and easy use. The only reason this product did not receive a 5 star rating was due to the lack of Customer Service returning emails on several occasions.

I purchased this two years ago for my nephew who was 9 years at the time and he is still in love with it. He never goes anywhere without i. He wishes though that the was a sim card slot.

I was looking for something to read books on and this was highly recommended and the price was right it is a excellent putchase i have started reading again im very pleased wotj this tablet

Snappy little tablet, like the fact it has expandable sd slot. a little thicker than expected but feels solid. the size is great for normal use, much better than a 10" tablet which is a little too bulky.
