It's okay for what it is. Get what you pay for. It is very slow. It lags. Loading, loadingz loading..... but it's my kid's first device so I wasn't looking for much anyway. It does work great just neee a little patience.

Not bad item for the price. Obviously not the newest model so moves a bit slow at times. Super easy to navigate like an android phone. Also easy to download apps without being prompted to pay like some other tablets.

Bought this as a gift for my parents. Our family has been loyal Samsung customers for many years; having bought multiple television sets and phones. While setting up the tablet I was disappointed to find out this tablet does not have screen mirroring capabilities like our cellphones do even though they are older. I assumed since this was a newer model that it would have this. Research online confirms it does not. I guess I'll have to buy a 30 ft HDMI cord and adapter... Moral of the story is do your due diligence before purchasing electronics. Otherwise this a decent economy tablet good for video chatting and web browsing.

love almost everything about it but the speed is very slow. it takes a long time to do anything opening apps, attempting to connect to devices i.e. printer is VERY SLOW. other than than i love how it works.

This tablet wasnt all that great. I thought it would be a better product but it runs a little slow and lags alot. I dont think I would refer this tablet to my friends.

I like to relax with playing game's for instant minecraft. A low resolution game. Plays well on even a cell phone. The Samsung Tab A8 is awful the buttons constantly stop responding. My 5 years old Lenovo plays much better. I thought if I bought a samsung to play along with her it would be a great tablet for that. Boy was I wrong. Biggest POS. EVEN just typing is a chore. So think twice before buying a samsung tablet. Signed very disapointed.

Would rate higher but the camera is lacking and I have had to replace 2 because the charging port breaks. It's been a good tablet for the kids who only use it to play games.

It's ok for a kid needing to use a tablet for the first time. It should come with a better screen that doe not crack so easily. Day 2 of having it, it cracked when I placed it face down on my wood table.

It started off good then about a week of owning it, it started to freeze up and I had to restart several times. It also restarted on its own a couple times too. Had to return.

Item was missing the charger & guide that was supposed to be included. Packaging was horrible and item was not secured so was banging around as well.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that it has the older style charging port so its very difficult for my kids to get the charger in correctly as it only goes in one way instead of either way.

Very disappointed in this tablet. I have had a couple of samsung tablets in the past and loced them This one lags, very slow, not responsive. Should have sent it back when i first fot it.

I purchased this tablet for my daughter, the reason I'm giving it a 3 star is that the charging area messed up 3 months after receiving it and it can be slow even with added memory.

Hoped to use this in a classroom to zoom with off-campus students on Swivl. Got function, but it won't accept the Swivl microphone input for Zoom. Google Meet works, but teachers got trained on Zoom. Argh!.

Bought to replace my NOOK reader, and it does that pretty well. I've been spoiled by the NOOK 7" readers for their light weight and dedicated functions, but this unit does the job, so...

This tablet does not have the option to transfer downloaded apps to an external memory card. The older Galaxy Tab A did have this option. My guess is they designed it this way so that people would be forced to buy the very expensive Galaxy tablets. I was very excited to get this new tablet, I even purchased a micro SD memory card at the same time as the tablet. Now I am just very disappointed. I will be returning this item tomorrow.

For the price point, this isn't a bad tablet. Screen resolution could be better and it has issues with Xbox One controllers but it does what I expected most of the time.

Looks nice but boots and runs very slow. Purchased to control my drone but the screen response is painful. Even email is slower than expected. I learned once again you get what you pay for!

I wanted to use this with Avenza maps. Fantastic sized screen for maps. It kind of worked but there was no compass built for navigation in so I returned it.

Bought this online. Was supposed to be an 8 inch tablet with free 6 month antivirus. Paid 162 and change. 7 inch tablet showed up. Went to store to return. When I got receipt it was for 132.00. Called to ask why and was told the difference was the anti virus that was "Free" which wasnt really free. They refused to return my money. That was the last thing I will ever buy. Be warned about free.
