This is a very basic Samsung tablet. It’s slow and some of the apps will crash. I bought for a couple of apps I needed for work. My main tablet is my iPad.

Kinda disappointed that the company decided to remove the type-c connection of the previous model I used to own. You can really notice the difference in charge times.

I want to like it but it a tad slow. I use Samsung and maybe I am accustomed to the speed of my phone. Debating on returning it. YMMV but maybe I expected too much.

Have bought several Samsung tablets and I'm disappointed in this one. Glitches galore including wifi, app freeze ups. Do not buy this model.

For streaming and content display is good. If you need something that is fast or something that has power behind it, you're not looking at this budget tablet, right?

I had to return this item because it would not allow me to load the latest version of the Samsung Smart Things app even though it was a Samsung product.

device has weak wifi chip, machine is slow. samsung a7 is much better, which is what i bought after I returned Tab A

I bought this for my dad and it just didn’t work out. Not the best quality. Had to return.

Overall a little large for my purposes. I like to fit it into a purse. Also the keyboard is small - difficult to type without hitting the wrong keys.

Slow... should have waited. 10 days later sale for new 2020 same price but has usb type c which is esier to manage with my other devices.

The charger port doesn't click in correctly its sort of loose all the time tried using aftermarket one still the same. Its also a bit slow.

Too expensive, and not that much "power". Good tablet, but you could buy something similar for a much better price of course without the brand recognition.

Good value when I bought it, but is a little slow or non responsive at times, Particularly when switching accounts or waking up from hibernating.

Just bought this tablet. I’m not too impressed. The quality is subpar compared to my Apple products. For the price range I was looking at it works for what I need.

This is a review of the sales web page, not the actual tablet. It appears that Best Buy did not update the description of the silver Galaxy Tab A (2019) and I mistakenly paid more for it thinking that it was the 2020 model. My bad for not double-checking the model numbers against the Samsung website, and Best Buy's bad for making me have to do it. If you want the 2019 tablet, you will get one. It appears very nice. We have not yet turned it on.

This tablet locked me out after using it for several weeks. All of a sudden, I had to unlock it by brushing two fingers up when only one finger was previously required, and my password was not accepted, even though I knew it was correct. Now, I'm not sure how, but it does unlock, with one finger and the password it wouldn't accept, once again. But it doesn't hold the on position, blacking out way too soon. And I'm not able to turn it off. Instead of turning off, it just starts again.

Tablet is slow as can be. Hard to do anything on it because it won't load.

This tablet is good for the every day surfing, shopping and every compatible with a lot of smart home devices. Would not recommend for gaming or movies watching.

I have to say for a Samsung tablet I am very disappointed. It runs slow which makes playing games or watching movies difficult.

Got it for my daughter to play games on, she likes it but it does lag sometimes. Would recommend getting a better device if you have the money.
