For the price point this tablet lags on touch response making it frustrating. Also the screen display is not as it should be.

I have an old version of this tablet , I really preferred the old one , doesn't glitch as this one , better quality too !

Its a samsung tablet it works good. Would recommend. Second one first was broken by kid.

This tablet is a good size for a child. Unfortunately, it is not fast enough for what I bought it for.

This unit didn't have the full android operating system. I use "smart-view" and didn't have this function.

It is not as good as my old 8" Tab A. The screen is smaller. The touch sensitivity is not as good. I can take screenshots with a gesture anymore. I thought a newer model would have been better than the old one, but I was wrong. I haven't found one thing better about this new version. I am disappointed with my new tablet. I wouldn't have gotten a new one except my old one died.

Poor wifi conductivity. broke within a month or two. Battery life is ok. I love Samsung products but this product did not meet my expectations. The screen was okay. Although I purchased the warranty the cost of fixing the tablet would have not been worth the cost of the warranty.

Tablet overall feels a little laggy sometimes, oesnt seem too upgraded from tablet I've had years ago

Not happy with the way the screen to reply comes up on the middle of the screen and you cant see what you are typing

Good tablet. Isn’t as smooth as an iPad but I got what I paid for. Wanted something a kid could play on

A little laggy and colors aren't as vibrant. If you can afford, upgrade to something more expensive.

This tablet is ridiculously slow and thick for 2019. It was a replacement for a 4 year old Galaxy S2 that died, but that tablet was so much faster and slimmer. I returned and bought a refurbished S2 on EBay. So much better! Maybe good for kids for their first tablet since it's so cheap. Samsung no longer appears to make premium 8 inchers. Not sure if the 2020 model is any better.

I've owned 2 previous generations of Samsung 8 in. tablet. The colors and vibrancy of the screen on this model is noticeably and disappointingly inferior to the prior generations. A minor quibble is that the charging cord is so short as to almost be dysfunctional if not charged adjacent to a plug on a flat surface. Looks like Samsung is saving costs at the expense of quality/usability.

This is my 2nd attempt with Samsung’s tab A. First one was two years ago and didn’t last two months. I wish Best Buy Geek Swuad worked on these instead of having to go thru Samsung directly. The new one had issues within hours of activating it and is already on the list to go to “u break, we fix”, authorized Samsung repair place. Not a happy camper.

It gets the job done. However, it freezes a lot. Other than that, it’s just ok.

Best Buy's Q&A section of device description should be answered only by employees who can give reliable answers. This tablet's description gave conflicting answers regarding LTE connection or embedded data plan/mobile hotspot capability, which is especially important since Samsung makes many different versions of the same model

My fourth Galaxy Tab A. Love the first three. This one is very slow!!! Not a good initial feeling.

Average Samsung tablet but works fine for my business use.

Older tablet a bit slow but I bought it just to keep the kids entertained while on long trips
