So far I am satisfied with it, it has served its purpose next to a laptop.

Worst tablet I have ever owned. Takes forever to load. I’ve had it for four years and Maybe used it the maximum of 48 hours.

This is an excellent tablet for using the internet and watching videos

This is my 3rd Samsung tablet. Like the previous 2 tablets, just over a year of owning it (outside of the warranty period), the wifi doesn't work. I know it is my own fault for buying another Android tablet, but I never have problems with my Android phones. When I called Samsung support, after following all of their online support recommendations including a full factory reset, they wanted $65 to repair the wifi issue. Basically, 50% of the original cost of the tablet to fix an issue that millions of people are having. Seriously, Google "Samsung tablet wifi issues and there are literally hundreds of how-to-fix videos and links with Samsung's at the top of the search. It turns out this is a known issue and they've done nothing to address it. As frustrating as it will be to move to Apple, I'm throwing this Samsung tablet that is 1 year and 1 month old in the garbage and getting an Apple iPad Mini. Who knows, I might end up switching to iPhones once I've gotten the useful life out of my Samsung Note 10 and Samsung S20. I wish there were other options than the Google/Apple duopoly for mobile/tablet operating systems.

Worked great for about 8 months after that it got slow and the touch screen doesn't very good

On its specs alone it is a decent tablet for what I need, surfing, word processing, no gaming. Unfortunately the Tab A died after 5 months unable to charge. So I brought it to Best Buy, they wouldn’t touch it, too long after 5 months. So I sent it back to Samsung, they fixed it for free, and even gave me a nice new scratch on the previously perfect screen. Now I have to deal with them again. Wish I never bought it.

This is just a basic tablet that IS NOT SPEN compatible despite that there are links for a pen here. So if you need the pen option for signing documents DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Do not trust this website to recommend the right products either. Do your research on your own and make sure the tablet fits your needs. BestBuy wouldn't allow us to return any tablet that was open when we purchased several for our business. Now we have to buy directly from Samsung instead because we have lost faith in BestBuy Business options. This tablet was completely useless and the account managers do not cross check large purchases either. If they were smart they would say "Hey that tablet isn't compatible with an S Pen, but this one is, let me offer you a better quote." They do not do this unfortunately. Therefore one star for lazy customer service and poor return policy.

I have bought several Samsung Tablets over the last few years as we use them for home automation systems. The last one, a 8" Tab A, lasted just five months past the warranty and died due to a "Moisture in the Charging Port" error message which blocked it from recharging. This is a tablet that has never left the house and rarely leaves the wall mount and has not been exposed to moisture in any way. In talking with the factory service folks they indicated the only fix was to factory reset and reload all software. Did that and no results. The tablet is now dead due to lack of charge, has been reset and not reprogrammed. I highly suspect this is a Samsung software issue, but am not interested in putting an unknown amount of money into fixing a shoddy device to find out. This problem has been widely reported with a number of Samsung phones. Unfortunately I just bought a Samsung 10 and am waiting for the issue to show up there as well.

This is an inexpensive tablet and it shows in its performance(or lack of). The device is suited for light browsing at best but If you are looking to perform tasks that are moderately resource intensive or, multitask then this tablet is not the right choice.

Good tablet only problem is I'm consistently having to send it in to get the charge port fixed. It is always getting broke somehow and won't hold the charger in place. Very frustrating. I've had it for less then a year and have sent it in four times to get fixed.

Device itself is slow. It takes awhile for the tablet to rotate and function. Other than that, it’s a alright since it’s only for my daughter to watch youtube

I am really disappointed with this. Talk about slow! I hate this thing. Thought I had 30 days to return it, but actually it was only 15. Oh well, I'm stuck with this slow piece of junk and out 120.00. I'm usually really happy with Samsung phones and tablets. This is a dud. It even sucks at streaming over wifi.

Worst tablet ever! Do not buy ! Get an Amazon one or iPad instead, had less than a month and it’s already messing up, screen is all scrambled and glitching! I didn’t drop it or anything , it stayed in its case and still horrible.

Worst Samsung tablet ever purchased. This is horribly slow and under powered. Don't waste your money
