Needed to replace my previous tablet which was well used and many years old. Quite happy with this newer version. Does everything I could ask. Bought it on sale and then it went on a further discount during Amazon Prime Day (less than 2 weeks later) in a Best Buy add. Best Buy matched offer with very little effort on my part and credited back my further savings on my credit card.

I’m liking this light weight tablet easily held in one hand but big enough for clear visuals.

My wife's old Nexus 7 finally ceased functioning. We selected the *: Samsung Galaxy A because of the price, convenient size, 32 Gig of memory and the updated android operating system. She adapted to the new tablet with very little effort. She enjoys the similarity of the user interface as well as the increase in speed and capacity.

Works well and the battery life last exceptionally long. It is a great alternative to some of the simpler readers. It uses the same UI as most samsung phones so it is extremely intuitive. It cannot stream most video apps in HD and sometimes the screen quality can be a little underwhelming.

Just the right size! Seems to work perfectly. Still getting used to and adding things.

We started testing a few of these out to use for our ELD's for our OTR Truck Drivers. Originally using ONN Walmart tablets to save cost, but they kept dying out in 3-6 months at best. Didn't matter refurbished or not. These tablets have proven to be able to handle to high hour usage as they are used constantly, and we are 8 months into our first batch of 10 with ZERO issues.

I've had the tablet 5 months and I've been perfectly happy with it. It is a little slow compared to my phone, but I was expecting that. I had exchanged a no name tablet that didn't work straight out of the box for this, so I guess my expectations were a little lower. The one I have takes an SD card but I haven't needed one because I haven't really downloaded a whole lot. All in all, I've been happy with it.

Just the right size tablet for me. Plenty of memory and great screen pictures and easy to use.

I purchased the Galaxy Tab A tablet for the exclusive purpose of reading ebooks from my local library and I have not been disappointed. The 8" tablet downloads books effortlessly, allows easy font and screen adjustments for clear and easy reading with a long lasting battery. While I cannot comment on other features of the tablet, I can say as an e reader I give it two thumbs up.

We love the tablet. We bought for my son. He's obsessed with his new tablet. Great tablet. A must buy for anyone in your family. It runs so smooth. Game play does not glitch at all. I'm going to purchase a few more for the rest of my family members. My wife has been bugging me to get her one. Great Christmas gifts this year. I will definitely pick me one up while I'm at best buy. Awesome Job Samsung
