My daughter has been hounding us for a tablet ever since she broke her old Nexus 7 a few years back. While it has been good to keep her face out of a screen like that during her more formative years, I finally caved and got her this one when she brought home straight A's, and the price was also nice and loooooow.... lol

I use the table a lot in the past couple of years. I downloaded books in it since I couldn't go to the library during Covid. Also, I used to take actual books on the plane on trips, but now just carry the tablet. I also use it to look at the web when I don't open my laptop.

This Samsung tab 8" has great video playback, it is fast, has a lot of space with 32G's.Plenty of room for apps, easy to hold with case. I like because it is easy to pack when your traveling. Fits in my center console of my truck. The camera takes great photos nice and clear. I use Duo and I can see the other person easily, can switch to full view if I want.

Picked up a couple of these originally to replace my kids 4 year old, locked down kids tablet. They're at the age where they can use a real one. I liked it so much, i ended up needing one for my self. the 8" factor is great for one handed use when you want to and i tend to play games and browse while on the couch watching tv or whatnot. I also use it for music as its great to clip onto a mic stand (a separate accessory) for playing/reading music/lyrics/playlists/etc Its quick and snappy. Screen is quite responsive. Would have been nice to have USB-C but maybe the next gen will have that. Glad to have the option for expandable memory which is handy for downloading streaming shows for offline use on road trips or places without data signal because this is such a popular tablet, there is no shortage of accessories

An inexpensive tablet. It won't do any 'heavy-lifting' but great for e-mail, browsing the internet, Youtube, etc. The price-point makes it a great candidate for simple entertainment around the house. I purchased it for a home automation control panel. It works great for its intended purpose.
