The Galaxy Tab A replaced an older Android tablet that was slow, unresponsive, and prone to frequent freezes and crashes. What a difference! I use the Tab A to Chromecast movies and live performance streams, and to read books and online news articles. Its performance and graphics are impressive, and crashes are a thing of the past. A rewarding purchase.

Samsung tablets are user friendly. Galaxy products are priced right & last forever. This Tab A malfunctioned and i did return it. The real story is Best Buy worked with me and gave me a full refund. Of course I'll continue to buy Samsung products

Ease of use of keyboard, battery improvement over previous model

Its a great tablet, good speed (only 2GB of ram though), works well for streaming and video games. If your looking for higher quality on sound, go for the more expensive tablets through Samsung. This is a great starter tablet for light use.

Tablet is very sleek and has enough power to handle most tasks that you would do on your laptop. Take advantage of all the security features to make sure your data is safe and the ability to auto-upload your data to the cloud makes it great for on the go productivity. There's even the option of expandable storage with a great hidden feature.

Great value for what I need runs old school runescape and youtube perfectly sound with options turned on. I also bought a couple for my kids and it runs abc mouse perfectly for them. Not the fastest and the memory fills up quick but huge improvement over our fire tablets.

It is worth the money and it is the is the best and I love it

I purchased this tablet the same day my iPad Pro decided to retire. I'm a pilot so I need a tablet for traffic avoidance and weather updates. This is a significant downgrade from a $1000+ iPad Pro so I won't compare. But this tablet does do absolutely everything I needed and kept my personal and professional needs intact, with the only hassle being the transfer of info from Apple to Android which really was not an issue at all. Overall, decent. A bit laggy and slow and does not always recognize my touch which is annoying, but overall, functional. If you're expecting an iPad, get an iPad. If you want something to get you thru the day, this will work. I did get a new iPad though and I'm probably going to keep this one just in case, or if someone forgot their iPad at home.

I got it for my 8 year old. The speed is nice. It's not flimsy.

I admit, I am not an Android fan, but since I never used one I figured I'd give it a try and learn the system. I purchased this honestly, just to play a game with. I never expected it to run a terribly slow as it does. I've tried every online hack I could find to "speed up" the tablet, and I am finding I have to manually clear the RAM all day long to keep the tablet running even at a useable speed. It's a functional tablet, but don't really expect to do much of anything with it. It's horribly slow, to the point where you will want to throw it against a wall sometimes.

Okay, so I only bought this to replace a dying Kindle Fire tablet, and my needs in a tablet are very basic - storing/reading recipes and games. That's really it. Although this tablet can lag sometimes, it does exactly what I need it to do, well. Samsung has never steered me wrong (although I'll admit I haven't always been loyal, and I'm changing that).
