Samsung tablets are always the way to go. Easy to set up and to navigate. Holds battery charge for quite some time and resolution is excellent for reading. Camera pictures come out nice and clear. Highly recommend.

Bought for my 7 year old grandson. He really likes it a lot for watching Netflix and playing his kids games. As a adult if your just using to surf internet and stream movies its a nice Tablet but not for heavy gaming or movie editing.

This is a solid tablet, sleek, light. Difficult to choose between ipad mini and this. really depends if you are a true apple fan or don't care as this tablet is much less in cost.

For the price this tablet can’t be beat. The quality seems good and screen is clear and colorful. The performance isn’t on par with more expensive tablets but if you need a web browser or e-reader this is worth looking at.

My kids love their tablets however since they upgraded from the older version they are not as sturdy. The older ones my son who has autisum could throw it down the basement stairs or stand on the screen and wouldn't break now u can accidently drop it with a case and screen protector and the screen cracks so that kinda sucks but the speed of the tablets are great and they really love them. Only other problem is the charging ports break really easily and when I bought new ones it kept trying to update even after being updated. There are definitely some negatives but I would recommend for kids especially if they like roblox and minecraft.

I bought this as a gift for my mother in law. It’s so lightweight and sturdy. Very nice! It’s not as advanced as other tablets but for someone who wants to use it for simpler things it’s perfect and super affordable

These are for my nonprofit staff and clients to use for remote communication for Zoom classes, meetings, and visitation appointments. These work very well and were easy to set up!

Tablet is perfect for the general user, will do most everything you need, has great battery life. I purchased the tablet for the sole purpose of connecting and managing my Sono's speakers through out the house. It works flawlessly.

I purchased this tablet for my son and it has done well for him. He uses it to watch Youtube videos and play games. You can get the Google Playstore on it. Videos and games seems to plays without lag. Battery has a good life. So far so good!

I bought two of these for my grandsons. Great tablet for the price, caught them on a Black Friday sale. These tablets were pretty much do everything they want to do. I consider it a great buy

This tablet has been fantastic for my son! We refuse to get him a phone, so this was the best option for my 6th grader to use for school. All of his classmates have a phone and can access messages from teachers with ease. My son can now stay on top of his assignments and even submit work through his tablet. Also, he has music apps, games, and the ability to take pictures! He loves it!

Great little tablet at an incredible price. This was for my wife and replaced a Tab S. We couldn't be happier with the decision and can't think of anything the S could do that this A cannot. Data transfer was a breeze.

Was looking for a Streamdeck alternative. With TouchPortal and the 8" size, my dreams were answered. The screen size is compact and portable, yet large enough to work on. The screen resolution is great for watching videos

Fantastic entry level tablet for Grandma. Zero complaints and that's saying something considering the user ;) Got a fantastic deal on Black Friday but would likely buy again at full price.

Great replacement for my kindle reading device. Doesn't replace the laptop but great compact or larger than life cell phone. I toggle using them both. I keep this on my desk to catch up on news or watch TV as I work.

Needed to find an economical replacement for my old Nook tablet that B&N wouldn't update the OS anymore. The Tab A works fine, updates have been smooth and problem free, nice screen resolution. I'm not happy with the location of the power and volume buttons. Invariably, as I am holding the tablet vertically, I end up gripping one of those buttons. Had difficulty finding a cover/case to fit this model. Finally found one in a clearance bin at a local store. Biggest gripe I have with this is the Google voice assistant. I don't know why it keeps activating and interrupting what I am doing, and I can't figure out how to turn off the blessed thing. Don't need it, don't want it. Other than that, the included software either works or can be turned off in settings.

First, I only gave this 2 stars due to the build quality, price, and size/weight. This is not an expensive tablet, and may work fine as a kids tablet, or for basic email and web browsing. It also has the typical high build quality of a Samsung device. The display is not that great, even for a 720p display, I couldn't even use it to show people my landscape photos as the colors aren't terribly accurate. (I'm picky with color accuracy regarding photography, so this may not be an issue for some.). The display also doesn't register taps somewhat often, forcing me to re-click something to get it to register. The biggest problem is the lack of RAM causes the inability to multitask between larger apps. I wanted to use this to research and set up photo outings using Google Maps, Google Earth, and a few other photo and weather apps. But the tablet was not even capable of running Google Maps and Google Earth at the same time (not on the screen at the same time). Every time I would switch from Earth to Maps, Maps would start fresh because the system closed it to be able to run Earth, and same vice versa. And even just running Earth itself was pretty sluggish. So if you want to run any apps that are "hefty", I'd suggest getting a tablet with more RAM... To avoid frustrating duplicate taps, I'd also suggest a better tablet...

This has been a great tablet for the kids. Working well so far. We replaced kindle fire tablets with this Samsung because we got tired of the Kindle Fire breaking down.

Like the tablet a lot, seems to run very fast. I am disappointed that the tablet would not run Samsung's "Smart Things" app. You would think a Samsung tablet would be capable of running an app that runs on most phones.

Bought this for my husband who needed an Android device to test out his new app. He's an Apple guy but really likes this device. Easy to use and the price was right. Purchase and pick up through bestbuy.com couldn't have been easier!
