This tablet has been going strong since 2019 for my youngest son. It’s held up to it’s fair share of abuse.

Good durable and keeps the kiddos distracted. I would recommend to parents with young kids just get a case for it.

It does exactly what it should do. Plays apps fine, connects to wireless. The size makes it easy to handle without being bulky.

It’s is great for teenagers and young kids but for adults I would go for the tab 10.4 but great tablet!

Like the size, good picture. So far it is very good. Not 5 star because Samsung is now trying to take over the Motorola phone.

This helpful for video chat. The big screen with it’s good visual effect helps me understand better things I see & txting is easier.

One of the budget tablets, good for your older parent to learn and understand apps like facebook and messenger.

Has all the apps you’ll need and runs great. Not extremely pricey if you get it during a good sale.

The Samsung Galaxy Tablet works great and screen displays images great. The 8" screen size is a good size as well.

Great tablet for the price! This is our second one we purchased, our first one broke because my son's friend jumped on it and broke the screen which broke it internally as well and I did not purchase a warranty on it so I had to buy another one straight out but this time around I did buy a warranty. that would be my advice to anyone who has children using it and it might be leaving the house and going to friends houses the warranty is 100% worth it!

I am an iOS person, but picked this up because my family (not me) plays Pokemon Go (they could be professionals if there was a league). There is an iOS issue with Pokemon Go that prevents the purchase of items. Niantic is aware, but has failed to fix the problems. Each family member has logged-in to their accounts on multiple iOS devices and eventually were prevented from purchasing items. This is a Niantic issue, not an iOS issue. So, to make the family happy (and to not having to be the IT guy trying to fix this problem), I sought out a cheap Android tablet since the Niantic problem is not an issue with Android. I find the unit quite sluggish - there are probably newer tablets that are more responsive. I'm not that impressed with it, but it will get the job done if your tasks aren't too demanding. Checking email, web surfing, etc should be fine. I don't think it could handle high memory using apps, since the ones we are using are not and they are sluggish. My comments have nothing to do with comparing iOS and Android. While different, I adapt easily to technology and did not find the navigation differences difficult - the average user changing from one to the other may have a steeper learning curve (I like to push buttons, so I have no fear to tap until I find my answer - it also makes me unable to work for the Department of Defense). Bottom line - this is probably fine for a kid/young teen. If you are a "power user", step up to one with better specs.
